It was a sunny day. I woke up late in the morning.I could hear my mother's voice, yelling at me.. "Can't you get up early atleast during holidays" my mothers voice in the background. Without this voice my day won't be complete. Because
this background voice is my daily alarm and also helps to keep me alarmed whole day. If you think this happens only during holidays then you are wrong.This is the regular routine regardless of my holidays , it's a everyday Raga(song). If I'm not hearing my mothers voice everyday I feel something is missing and I make sure that I get that in the early morning.
It was too late. I had no phone, neither my friends. I supposed to go for a wonderful road trip to a western ghat at 7am. As I got up late it was too difficult to concentrate on everything,I rushed to complete all my morning tasks. But now the time is 9am. My friends were waiting in our regular spot since 7'o clock. It's the time to get melodious hits from my friends, and I am prepared for that.
Finally I reached our regular place where we used to hangout and chit chat. "Everyone staring at me with a grin".this confused me and they started laughing . I could not tolerate this laughter. I asked the reason for the loud laugh. Everybody started screaming, it wasn't funny for me. I just waited for their answer after the laugh. Everyone told in a single voice " we just now arrived, you are not the one who is late. We too". I was like "What???", but it supposed to be at 7am is it. They said " we all got up late". That ends the chapter.
Well, I am atleast happy now because I'm not the only one who is late and also I am super excited to go on a road trip. Wait, did I say where we are going? Yes , exactly it's to our beautiful, amazing , evergreen western ghats. Aren't you excited, if yes then join me. I will take you around the western ghats.
Let me give you a brief note on Western ghats. Western ghat is also called as Sahyadri. It is diversed with variety of flora and fauna. Western ghat runs parallel to the western coast of Indian peninsula. It covers the few states of India, majorly Maharashtra,Goa,Karnataka,Kerala and Tamil Nadu. It's a great honour to see amazing creatures of the nature , varieties of insects, birds,animals, reptiles, Plants etc.

We are almost 7 friends in a Toyota. One of my friends brother is so generous to take us to this road trip. We are thrilled.
I will give you the overview of our journey.
We are starting from our small town named Moodbidri then we head towards Karkala followed by Agumbe, theerthahalli, Shimoga and finally it ends in a beautiful place in Sahyadri hills called "jog falls".
