Now we are in the Malnad region of Karnataka. Not much of pollution, hardly there are houses around, people are walking with their body and head covered with plant originated hood... lovely weather and wonderful scenery. It's almost 7pm, we reached a small village and our packed food boxes are empty. We have to find a canteen to have our dinner. I know it's too early to have dinner but we are not sure whether we get food on the way.
There is a small shop or may be we can call it as canteen on the other edge of the road. Our vehicle doesn't go there because it's narrow road only 2 wheeler can pass through. We cannot expect some hygienic food there, but still the innocence and warm welcoming of the village person filled my heart. He wasn't rude, politely he asked " what do you wanna eat"? We said what do you have ?
We wanted to eat something spicy and hot, because the weather is so chilled and cool. Even though it's not the time for having coffee for me, I felt like having sip of coffee in the weather. He said ragi balls , Neer dosa, chicken gravy , chicken curry, sambar, rice, roti.... But we wanted to eat something really hot and the food which is just popped out of oil.. 😀😀. I know it's not healthy food but once in a while it's fine for me. We asked him to get neer dosa and hot chicken gravy.. He took some time to prepare, meanwhile we had cup of coffee. I was looking at the sky, so calm and beautiful and I started dreaming about myself flying in the sky and saying 'hi' to moon and greeting all the stars around. Suddenly felt like somebody hitting me, " You don't wanna eat?" My friend asked me. For few seconds o wasn't in this world. The food was yummy , we finished our dinner and moved towards our vehicle.
But we didn't have proper idea how long it takes to reach Theerthahalli. We asked somebody and he said it takes 2-3 hours journey and that man also said that going in this road after 9 is dangerous. It's already 8.30pm we spent so much time for our dinner and we dint feel so. We dint concentrate much on his last sentence, we started our vehicle drove to Theerthahalli.
It's almost 9.30 we are in the middle of heavily so called mini forest. I mean it's not forest but can see many many trees on either sides of the road. Suddenly something flashed on our car. It just happened in fraction of second, and we could not figure out what is it... I just saw my watch ' it's 9.45' . I remembers that mans words who told that after 9pm this road is dangerous. It's not lightening effect, felt like somebody just passed through our car. OMG, what is happening, suddenly two clouds started fighting .. that's thunder.. and lightening too, wind started blowing quite faster than usual. This reminded us horror movies. We all left with mixed feelings. Something is going wrong. We are totally horrified with the situation and there are no vehicles on the road, with a distance of 800 meters we could see something white "object" moving. We could not figure out whether it's a woman or object. We stopped our vehicle. Oh what's that , we felt like somebody is pushing our car and no one had the dare to get out of the car. It started raining heavily, we just parked our car on the side of the road. I felt like somebody is back of me, I just turned my head... oh oh oh lord ... I screamed .... I saw .. I saw ...
