Chapter 1

"Kelly... Kelly honey, it's time for school. Emma's downstairs waiting for you, and I've got to go get Hannah from day-care, she stayed overnight." I got up yawning not looking forward to school today. It's Tuesday. Every day I get up, thinking on what day it is. When it's a weekend I just fall back asleep, but when it's a weekday I lay there until my mom comes to wake me up. I love her to life. She's been battling cancer for three years so I've recently been getting spoiled a lot. My oldest sister Emma is always stressing over her. I've learned not to stress, because when we stress, she stresses, and that's the last thing I want to happen.

I kiss her good morning. "Hey mom. Thanks for waking me up as always." I yawned out. She looked at me and smiled. "No problem honey, but I'm not coming to college just to wake you up every day." She stated jokingly. I smiled and laughed. "I'm sure I'll get a rowdy, obnoxious roommate." I smiled. I know it's silly but that always happens in movies. There's the good girl that wants to be into books and out of guys, that 'randomly' gets bunked with an overexcited bi-polar hypocrite that has a different guy over every night.

She smiled and laughed just looking at me amazed. I got up and went into the bathroom brushing my teeth then turning on the shower and hopped in for 20 minutes. When I got out I was surprised to see my best friend Tristan standing there smirking at me. I almost jumped out of my skin! "Tristan why do you always do that? What if I was just walking out one day and I happened to have left my towel on my bed, huh?" I snapped. He just looked at me smiling. "I'll just have to be the luckiest guy in the world." He said wrapping his arms around my waist. I rolled my eyes as I wrapped my arms around his neck. "You know you're not my boyfriend right?" I asked looking serious. He smiled "I know but I can act like it right? If I was your boyfriend I wouldn't have to act." He said kissing me softly. I rolled my eyes and continued to my room.

Tristan has always had a crush on me. We've been best friends since the 2nd grade and I had liked him at first too. Then in 8th grade, I finally gave him a chance and he blew it. I'd caught him kissing our best friend Ashley. He'd begged, and begged form my forgiveness, but before we started dating, I had told him if he messed up one time it was over. I'd rather him be my best friend anyway because he was more of a best friend than a boyfriend. Plus, I didn't care when he kissed me and flirted around with me. I took it more as a friendly-joking kind of thing, and he respected that. We headed downstairs to go to school. I grabbed a quick breakfast before jumping in the back seat of my 12th grade-18 year old, Sister Emma's car. She said hi to Tristan before we all waved bye to my mother. We rode for about 10 minutes before arriving at school. As usual, Woodard High School's parking lot was filled with perverted, hormonal boys gathered around trying to hook up with girls they know didn't want them. But on the flip side, half of the girls were just sluts who didn't care about who they gave their body away to.

"All right guys, I'll see you later." Emma said walking towards her group of friends. Me and Tristan waved good-bye as we watched her walk off. Emma was really pretty with her blonde hair and her green eyes. She also had a great body. She could get any guy she wanted, but she wasn't one of those slutty girls who gave their body away to anyone. Me, on the other hand, was a completely different story. I had hazel eyes with same blonde hair as my sister, but hers flowed way more perfectly. I'd had compliments on my body, but I never thought it was good enough to be compared to Emma's. I was like a smaller replica of her. I always hoped my body would look like that when I got her age, but I didn't get my hopes up. And of course I'm not a slut. "Kelly... Kelly?" Tristan snapped in front of my face. I immediately yelled at him asking why he was snapping in front of me. He looked shocked. "Sorry if I was interrupting you day-dreaming about me beautiful." He said. I couldn't help but laugh as I grabbed his hand and we walked into the school.
