Connor pulled up at Sean's driveway a while later and I ran to the doorbell while Connor started organized his car.

"Aren't you coming?" I asked Connor.

"Yeah, in a minute. I need to clean up. I just dropped my coffee on my chair. Haha."

Typical Connor. He always has coffee and seems to always drop it. Sean finally swung open the door after what seemed like hours.

He grinned like an idiot, "There you are! Did you enjoy my ways?"

"Anything for you. Haha."

"Hey, want to go grab some food at the beach or something?"

"DUH. You owe me anyways," I lightly shoved him playfully.

Connor jogged up to me and brushed back his hair, "Oh hey! Sean right?" Connor held out his hand.

Sean stared at him and then at me, "Wait. This is your friend?"

"OH YEAH! The friend I said I was with at Starbucks! Yeah, I totally forgot. Connor, this is Sean. Sean, this is Connor," I smiled with my two dimples showing.

Sean lips formed a crooked line, "Wait. Hold up. I'm lost. So are you guys dating..?" He asked curiously. It was strange how annoyed he looked. It was almost like he was jealous.

Connor quickly replied before I could, "OH NO NO. We are just friends. Best friends to be exact," he smiled, "The other O2L boys, Andrea, Kelly, and I are all really good friends."

"Wow. I didn't need to know your whole life story but okay whatever. Well Kelly is my best friend too. We met way back long time ago," Sean said a bit too harshly with a hint of jealousy. I turned to Connor for a second, I swear I saw a mocking face from Sean to Connor, but I had no proof that I as right.

There was an awkward silence and then Connor slowly said, "Okay then.."

"HOW ABOUT we all go to the beach and buy some food there and be friends?" I offered quickly.

Sean rolled his eyes, "Sure whatever."

Connor innocently walked to his car and Sean power-walked to his car. I had no idea where to go because they both went different directions.

Connor looked back to see if I was coming along. Sean asked back at me loud enough for me to hear without looking at me, "Kelly, you coming right?"

I looked at Sean and then at Connor. Connor was no longer looking at me. He was staring at the other direction. Only he knows if he was feeling hurt that moment. Pressure filled up my head. I had to choose and this was no fair competition life was playing on me. I squeezed my eyes tightly. My teeth clenched together and my fist closed tightly.

Connor's voice suddenly appeared, "Hey Kelly. It's fine. I'll go back to the house. You two have some fun."

I looked up at him. He was staring back at me. He wasn't confident at what he just said but I know he was serious. I bit my lip and then looked back at Sean who was impatiently waiting for an answer. Sean wasn't supposed to be the antagonist of my life story. He was a really good guy to be honest.

"Don't worry Kelly. You don't have to make up your mind. I made mines. Have fun and be safe okay? See you later," With that, Connor pulled out of the driveway and looked away from my eyes with hatred. Not the hatred because I never said I preferred Sean. I preferred them both. The hatred that I didn't say anything when I had to choose. The hatred that I didn't follow him home. The hatred that I didn't calm Sean down.
