-The next day- *Josey's P.O.V*

I didn't wake up until the next morning when Ally accidentally dropped something, making a loud noise. I rolled over on the couch to look at her; she was in the kitchen cooking, and it smelled delicious.

"What's cooking, good looking?" I playfully asked as I walked into the room. She turned around to look at me, she looked, nervous?

"Oh, ya know. Sausage, eggs, bacon." She said nervously. Why was she so nervous?

"You hate bacon, why make it?" I curriously asked.

"Well, uh, you like it... So, I uh, thought you might enjoy it." I could practically see her shaking by now.

"Ally, what's wrong? You seem very... Edgy." I said slowly.

"What? Something wrong? With me? Oh no, I'm fine. Perfectly fine and dandy." What could she possibly be so scared about. Maybe she knows Harry told me about yesterday and she's afraid I'm going to yell? Well, if that's the case, lets have fun with it.

"Well alright, if you say so." I started, pausing for a moment so she thought I was done. "So, what did you do yesterday?" She froze and everything was completely silent for a minute. All that was heard was the sizzling of the pan. But then she started to talk.

"Oh, nothing really. I just kind of stayed home all day." She nervously said.

"Really? You weren't home when I got here last night." I stated, raising an eyebrow.

"Oh... Yeah... Uh.... I went out for a bit later." She trailed off.

"Oh really? That's nice. Where'd you go?"

"Oh, uh, ya know. Out..."

"Interesting, where exactly is 'out'?" Why wouldn't she just tell me? Obviously I know what's going on.

"I went to the bar down the street. Had a few."

She said avoiding eye contact. I stared at her, waiting for her to look at me. When the food was done and she turned around to put it on plates, she almost dropped the pan when she saw me.

"W-why are you staring at me?" She asked nervously.

"Because you're hiding something from me." I said with a smirk. She lost it. She put the pan down and stared at me.

"Josey, don't yell at me, please, I swear, I'm so sorry. I know I hurt him, I know I could've been nicer to him. I know it should've happened differently. Josey, please don't be mad at me, please." She sprung it all out at once, begging me with her eyes while she was on the verge of tears.

"Ally, calm down. I'm not going to yell, I'm not mad." I said calmly with a laugh behind my tone.

"Y-you're not?" She asked a little happier.

"No, not at all. I just want to know why, and what happened. I just want your side of the story."

*Ally's P.O.V*

"-I just want your side of the story." Josey said with a caring expression and a soft smile.

Oh god. I can't tell her. She'll think I'm stupid and she'll tell me to go for him. I love her to death, but nobody can know how I really feel. Okay, here goes nothing, god Josey, I'm sorry I have to lie to you.

"Okay, well, when we moved out here to California, I decided that Harry and I would never work. I mean, it was nice while it lasted and all but honestly Josey, did you see us lasting?" I said with a fake attitude. "Exactly, I mean, he was just a summer fling, just a thing in my past. Sure I liked him and all but, love? Ha, I don't think so. The only real reason I stayed as long as I did was because he's such a great kisser. That's why I let him kiss me earlier too. But Josey think about it, he's an international popstar. He doesn't need a Cleveland girl like me; and I don't need all that poperazzi bullshit. It's better this way. We aren't meant to be. I didn't want to hurt him, but I didn't think he'd kiss me and confess his love for me. It was kind of his fault." Wow, that was the hardest thing I have ever done. I can't believe I said that so confidently and well, bitchy. I'm a bitch. But it's for the best.
