It's been a week since the whole kiss and Jack liking Scarlett. It was English. Today we had to work with the partner that our teacher picked. I got to be with Jack. We went to the table and got our work done. Once we were done we had 10 minutes left of class. We ended up talking for the rest of class.

"Did you know that my brother likes my best friend?" I asked him.

"Did you know I like my best friend's sister?" He asked me.

I blushed. I told him all about the whole I can date your friends, but Harper you can't date mine. We both decided to date secretly. And when we're ready we will tell Jack together. 

"You can come over after school if you would like?" Jack asked me.

"Ok, what is Jack doing after school today?" I asked.

"Probably going to Scarlett's."

That made me cringe. I can't believe I'm letting him date my best friend and he won't let me date his. 

The bell rang, Jack and I went our separate ways. It was time for lunch. I was looking for Scarlett at our usual table and she wasn't there. I looked over by Jacks' table and there she was sitting by her new boyfriend, my brother. I walked over there and sat by her. She didn't even know I was there. Neither did my brother. I ended up just talking Jack. My brother had to leave for his class, so it was just me, Jack and Scarlett. 

"Oh, Hey Harper!" Scarlett yelled.

"Bye Jack, I'll talk to you later."  I said while getting up from the table and leaving for math.
