I haven't talk to Scarlett for a couple days now. I was over at Jack's house, we were cuddling and watching a movie. The door bell rang. Laura, Jack's oldest sister got the door.

"Hey Jack!" She yelled knowing that he didn't know that I was here.

I looked over to Jack and ran into the bathroom. I texted him telling me when to come out.

I heared from the bathroom, that Jack was upset that him and Scarlett broke up. I was sad that Scarlett nor Jack didn't come to me. I got a text from Jack saying that they were in the basement and now was the time to leave before he knew I was here. I got out of the bathroom and walked downstairs.

"Hey boys!" I said.

Both Jacks looked surprised that I was here/still here. I saw that Jack was crying, actually crying. I walked over to him and asked him what was wrong. He didn't reply. I got up and left. I went over to Scarlett's house and saw that Maggie's car was there. Why was Maggie's car there? She hates Maggie. I rang the door bell. Scarlett's mom answered the door.

"Why hello miss Harper! How are you?" she asked.

"I'm doing good. Is Scarlett here? I need to talk to her." she told me she was in her room.

I walked into her room and there she was on her laptop with Maggie close by. She looked shocked that I was here.

"What are you doing here?" Scarlett said still shocked.

"I need to talk to you... alone." Hinting toward Maggie.

Scarlett and I walked outside to talk.

"So what's going on with my brother and you?" I asked.

"Oh him? He was just a little game." She said heartless.

"What? He really likes you Scarlett!" I couldn't help but yelling.

"Calm down Harper. He'll get over it."

"Scarlett, you don't get it do you? He was so nervous to ask me if he could ask you out and I said sure cause I actually thought that you would be all over it too! And then you told him that you were breaking up and then go and hang with Maggie?" I yelled.

"You wouldn't get since your aren't in the popular crowd."

"Popular? You hate Maggie and you hate popularity also!" I screamed.

"Leave! And don't come back!" She yelled.

Tears were coming out of my eyes. I turned around and was walking home. As I was walking home she yelled "Don't sit by me at lunch anymore!"

Once I got home my eyes were all puffy and red. I ran into my room before my mother saw me. In my room memories flooded my mind. From our first days of school to our fun sleepovers. There were pictures of us everywhere. I was mad and sad at the same time. I took out the pictures from the picture frames and threw them away. I no longer had a best friend.
