"Ree c'mon, just one little favour, please." Veer came running behind me.
"No way Veer! There's no way in the whole world that I am going out with you as your date to help you get your 'true love' Natasha" I yanked my hand off.
"Ree the thing is you don't know how hot this girl is. Besides I'm really falling in love with her. Can't you help me out just this once?"
"Just this once? Hah. Well, Mr. Veer Rathore, you've used that phrase like a hundred times. Quit it. Okay?"
"Hermoine would never do that to Harry."
"Don't you potterize me, Veer. I was the one who got you to read."
"Oh! Please Hermoine! Please! Please! Please! I won't leave till you say yes."
"God! You're such a pain in the ass."
"And you're the loveliest and the sweetest of earth's fairest flowers. Now please agree so that I can get going. I have got loads to plan Ree!"
I couldn't help laughing at that line. He always used it when he had to butter me up. He knew I would crack up at it.
Of course, like always, I agreed.

I laughed all alone at this memory. It's one of the good ones which I cherished. They helped me hold my pieces together. They helped me gather myself back up after a long tiring day. They helped me stay alive.
I tucked myself inside the blanket and looked out of the window towards the night sky.
