"Oh shut up Riya. I did nothing so terrible to you. I didn't leak your naked pictures or something. Cut out the third degree."
"Nothing terrible? Veer you went about telling everyone that I am just a "warm up session" before your "big game". You told people you just hang out with me because I let you make out with me. You told Natasha that you would leave me as soon as she agrees to go out with you? That doesn't sound terrible to you, then what does?"
"So? I said that. So what? You're not going out with anyone. You don't like anyone. You are a 16 year old girl who hasn't even held a guy's hand yet. Why do you care if I said that. If anything, it makes you look good. I stopped people from thinking you're a homo or something." He laughed out at his own silly joke that didn't make any sense to me.
"HOW DARE YOU TALK TO ME LIKE THAT? After all these years of friendship, that's how you treat me? I never asked for money or gifts or even your presence. I just wanted your respect and a little love Veer. Just the way I had given to you all these years. I pretended to be going out with you so you could get that girl. I had no reason going to that stupid party and making a fool out myself. I did it for you."
Saying this I broke down crying. He did come and hold me.
Somehow out of my tears, I said, "I did it because I promised I would be your Hermoine. I promised I would do anything for you. I did it to keep my promise."
"Well, I never asked you to be my Hermoine." He said leaving me.
He stood up and what he said next, broke my heart, rather crushed my heart into tiny fragments which pierced back into my body.
"I never begged you to be my savior, as you think yourself to be. You stayed with me cause no one else would be your friend. You were doing me no favour Riya. You were with me for your self-interest. My company made you popular. You just wanted to be popular. Not that you had some unconditional love for me and did everything unconditionally. Cut the crap, all right? You are just as same as everyone else. I couldn't have forced you into doing this for me. You did it because you wanted to, because it got you a opportunity to go out with me other wise that would just happen in your dreams. Now, I'm not going to beg you to forgive me. What I said may have hurt you, but then, you were never a good friend to me either. You deserve this shit Riya Solanki. You deserve it. Get lost!"
