UNDERGEM (An Undertale AU)

Long Ago...

There was war between races before. Monsters and Humans, Animals and Nature.
But there isn't anything that can be as terrible as one specific war...
"THE GREAT GEM WAR."
This was a battle between rebellious gems, and ones that still stayed to their leaders, the Diamonds.
It lasted until one of the newer diamonds, Pink Diamond, was shattered by the rebellions leader. A Rose Quartz. HomeWorld saw this as a warning and fled Earth. Making the rebels victorious.
All remaining gems were shattered or corrupted by a diamond song. And any technology such as Warp Pads were used by the rebels and/or abandoned.

Now the Rebels, named The Crystal Gems, live on earth in peace with gems such as Garnet, a fusion of a Ruby and a Sapphire. Amethyst, a runt like quartz that came out too late. Pearl, a one of a kind version of her kind. And Steven Universe, a young gem human hybrid who is destined for his powers.
...but our journey doesn't start at that time.. or with these people...

UNKNOWN TOWN: 20XX
A young girl runs out of an apartment in anger. Into the closest forest out of town. Bruises and scratches from small thorns or pulled bark stung, and she started to slow down. She has been running for 7 minutes with her knees aching. Her head was also in a spin cause of the mayhem before she went off in a hurry with rage. Thinking to herself that rest can be the most needed at this time. So she continued on much more slower than last time with long breaths. She was blacking out more with every step due to the tears in her skin. And soon enough she found a place.
A light blue stand of some kind in the woods felt odd, but she wouldn't hesitate anymore. It was her only option before falling to the infested grounds. In no time, she was asleep on the stand with no comments on the thing below her. And soon she woke up about half an hour later.
The place was more colder and dark when her eyes got clear in vision. A small entrance way was also noticeable in the shadows. She soon found out where she was.
She wasn't anywhere that would be home.

In this tale. You will be exploring the quest of a young girl by the name of Connie. With her new discovery of a sudden and different land. Now told in a 3rd person POV due to the confusion of the older 1st person POV.

Please Note: this is a complete remake of the older version. And won't truly have a undertale style. It will have the plot and idea, but the story will now not be a copied and pasted format. Have fun reading the new and improved UNDERGEM.
