Sup! I had another dream as y'all may have guessed. Just a heads up, this one may contain triggers in it, that is if I decide to include the whole thing. I had this one last night, and to be honest now I'm just really confused. Anyway, I suppose I'll see if I can get this one down.
----------------I'm in a room with only a door- a few bars for a window. The bed was small and tidy, white sheets, ect. There were clocks on the wall.. tic.. tic... tic.
Fear.
My heartbeat stared racing, my hands got cold and sweaty, my stomach felt empty- but it hurt. I stared At the clocks, all turning... in different directions? I stepped closer to the wall, examining all of them closely.
Confusion.
Why were they all turning in different directions? I didn't know. I squinted my eyes, trying to figure it out. They started slowing down. The ticking became slow, and soon they all stopped.
Panic.
I didn't know what was happening, but I was panicking, almost as if time had run out for something. I went to the door, and clasp my hands around the small bars acting as windows. I tried to pull it open desperately, but there wasn't when a doorknob on the inside. Then, I had this thought. (I'm sorry y'all, this is going to sound really weird, but I'll try my best to put it into words.) the thought was similar to something along the lines of, 'maybe If... i just look away from the door, it'll open.' I questioned myself for a moment, honestly full of confusion. I decided it was now or never, either way I probably looked like an idiot. Not that I really cared to be honest, this is my dream after all. I took a breath, and turned around. I turned back after a minute, along with the realization that I was just being stupid, but I was surprised to see that the door was completely gone. Now there was just an opening where the door was.
Excitement...?
I couldn't see myself in third person, but if I could I'd probably have a goofy grin. After a few moments of hesitation, I stepped through the doorway, only to have every bit of excitement I had ripped away from me and replaced with terror. What I saw, was a dark hallway, much like that of a prison. I began slowly walking down the hallway, looking at every door along my way. I saw a girl in a straight jacket, twitching around on the floor of her cell. Her face was absolutely dead, but she would make struggling noises.
Terror, once again.
I turned to the other side, and jumped a little when I was greeted with the "lovey" face of a man, clutching the bars to his cell, his tongue sticking out of his mouth, slit down the middle. He had blood running from the top of his forehead, to the bottom of his chin and dripping off onto the floor. His jaw looked like it was broken, because it hung loose, and crooked causing his tongue to fall out as I had mentioned. His eyes were shot open, and he was laughing madly, though it was a rather distorted vision of a laugh, because of the condition his jaw was in.
Of course, I wasted no time at all to turn, and quickly start running down the hall at top speed. I passed a multitude of cell doors, some people were moaning of pain, some were laughing, some were sobbing, some screaming, and some even whispering. All of these sounds put together honestly sounded like hell. Eventually I got to the end of the hall, where there was only one cell left. (Alright guys, remember the chapter I had about the piano and violin? And the guy that was there? If you haven't read that one recommend it, because if crap wasn't weird enough, our violin boy just had to show back up.)
There was a tallish figure standing in the last cell, back turned to me. The figure had a violin rested under his chin area. Without him having to turn around, I recognized him as the guy from the dream I had before. Though, eventually he did turn around. He looked at me, up and down, as if he was examining me. I felt judged, but was still in a panic. I suppose he took note of that, and opened his cell door. I don't know how he did this, considering all the other cell doors were locked shut. Motioned me in the cell, and for whatever stupid reason, I actually entered. He set the violin on his 'bed,' and sat in a wooden chair close to the wall of the cell. I turned to look at him, and I feel like I was going to ask him a question, but my attention was stolen by something else.Next to his chair along the wall, was a old grandfather clock. Though they usually don't work like regular clocks, this one had a single clock in the middle of the wood statue.
Instead of the regular amount of points, this clock had at least twelve points ticking in all different directions. The guy stood up, and walked closer to me. He looked directly into my eyes. Then held his hand out. My gaze shifted down to his hand, to see him holding out a golden key, it was a little rusted. I was so confused at this point, that I had zero craps left to give, and I kid you not I literally just shrugged and took the key. As I took the key though, I was struck by curiosity once more as I noticed a black print forming on my wrist. "Leave your signature." Is what it said in small ink print. I just stared down at it, in complete confusion, feeling like a total idiot. I turned to look backup at the guy, and he had a faint smile on his face, and steady tears streaming down his cheeks, falling free from his eyes just as he had done before in the other dream I had.The next thing that happened was there was a strange whispering. It started quietly, but soon grew unbearably loud. I clasped my hands over my ears, the key falling to the stone ground in the process. As the key approached the ground, painfully slow I might ad, everything went quiet. The yelling of the crazy people, the whispering from lord knows where, and the crying.
There was a single "tic" of the clock, before it stopped moving all together and the key hit the ground. The "ting," it made as it reached the stone pallet echoed through the room. The whole building I should say. There was silence, as the only sound to be heard was the key hit the ground.
1..2...3..4..5...6....7...8...9...10..11..........12.
After a few seconds, it was like everything became in reverse. The screaming, the crying, the whispering, which was even louder this time, and the clock, which was now ticking at top speed. The key sort of- how do i say this... flew back into my hand? Like, it was quickly lifted from the ground, as if my hand was a metal magnet of some sort. Then, after all that happening I'm about 1.3 seconds, I woke up.
