"You look so beautiful and ethereal like this. It's unreal." Taehyung spoke to the unconscious girl lying underneath him.

"No one would ever guess the demons lurking within you." His hands trailed up to caress the soft skin of her cheek. He knew something as fragile as her should not be in his hands.

The boy in the blue coat, as most people would call him, a faint ghost walking by. The boy who no one really bothered to know had just done something very bad. Something unimaginable.

To most people Taehyung was just another nameless shy boy who attended the local community college and worked at the flower shop, the swarm of people he interacted with everyday were oblivious to his psychotic tendencies.

"But don't worry, they haunt me too."

"Taehyung, can you refill the flowers in the window?" Namjoon, the supervisor here at 'Jin's flower shop' asked me.

"I'm on it." I called from the back of the store. The white tiles beneath me were now covered in a plethora of petals, I had just finished watering and cutting our daily supply of freshly picked flowers.

Placing the cutters on the table and removing my gardening gloves, I picked up the bouquet of roses I was working on, examining my handywork.

"Ouch!" I felt the thorn on the stem prick me. My finger stung as blood filled the petals. "I guess I missed that one." I sighed, sucking on the pads of my fingers. Snipping the thorn quickly I took another glance at the flowers.

The once white roses were now red, with my blood.

"Guess I have to throw these away now." I walked robotically to the trashcan, stepping over the discarded flowers, and placed my foot on the pedal to open it.

My hand stopped. Throwing these away seemed like such a waste, they were still beautiful even if the petals were covered in blood. I shook my head and retracted my foot from the trash, pondering on what I could do with these tainted buds.

To my demise I had no one to gift these flowers to, it was pointless to salvage them, they would just sit in my home and wither away. It was incomprehensible why I wanted to keep these flowers. But something deep inside me told me to keep them, inhibiting my hand from disposing of them.

Throwing them into my locker, I exited the back of the store. The front wing of the store was almost always empty at this time, so it was when I came out to refill the canisters. Restocking the flowers was always a fun task, it meant I could stare out the window at the bypassers who seemed to all walk quickly to destinations only they knew. Me being the observant person I am, I enjoyed watching the silhouettes of beings pacing quickly. Being stuck at the back of the store got very lonely, I never got to interact with the customers. Not that I would be any good at it.

The silver containers glistened with water as I placed each flower individually in to ensure it was safe and avoided damage.

"Excuse me." I looked up, my eyes trailed in the empty space in front of me. I began to question the liability of my ears.

"I'm right here." The tug at my pants forced my gaze down.

A cutely dressed brown haired girl stood, rocking back and forth nervously. Her face held a cherish-able look.

"Hello, how may I help you, little girl?" I squatted down to her level.

"Um, I just wanted some flowers to give to my mommy. It's her birthday." She smiled shyly. Kindness was all this girl could offer the world right now and boy did we need it.

"Well, you came to the right place. Is your father here?" I asked looking around the empty store searching for a man who resembled the young girl.

"No, I came alone, I live in the apartments across there." She pointed, struggling to reach above the flowers. That apartment building was also a place I called home.

"Ah, I see." I smiled. "What kind of flowers does your mother enjoy?" My glasses slipped on the bridge of my nose, as I looked at the girl.

"Tulips, I think." She scrunched her nose.

"Like these?" I held up a light pink colored flower. Surprisingly it matched her cute cheeks perfectly.

She nodded ensuring me with her gesture.

She smiled brightly as I began to assemble a bouquet. Her wondress gaze followed my every move as if I were creating a masterpiece. No one was ever that attentive with my work.

"Here you go, I hope your mother enjoys the flowers." I handed the girl the flowers, she took them in, holding them against her small body.

"Thank you, but I don't have any money." She frowned. I smiled, rubbing her cheek sweetly.

"Go on sweetheart, don't worry about it." I winked as she scurried off exiting the store in excitement.

Children brought the same magical essence flowers did. A divine and warm feeling. When I graduated high school I always wanted to start a family, find a sweet girl and marry her, move into a small apartment and have children.

She would stay at home and care for our children and I would work here, bringing her flowers every day after work as a sign of gratitude for making me the happiest man on earth. It was a dream I felt I would never accomplish.

All the girl at my school found me too odd, peculiar, but not in a favorable way. Too obsessed with things people in their youth found boring. It was beyond the good of me.

I guess thats just the price you pay for being fucked up inside.
