Is this for real?

Meeting strangers

I ran, and ran. Dirt kicking up from underneath my claws as i ran.

"How long have i been running? Days? Weeks?" I think to myself.

All i knew was that I wasn't safe. Not Yet. I needed to keep going. My instincts told me to keep going.

I come up to a vast river bank. When i reach the water i drink from it and step back.

"Where even am I?" I say weakly.

All i remember is I got a good look around me before everything went black. I collapse from exhaustion and hunger.

When I woke, I remember being drenched with sweat and was in a hospital. My vision began to become clear again. I start to panic and ask multiple questions.

"Where am I? Who are you? Why am I here?" I think as I scan the room.

I look at myself in my human form. I start to get annoyed. I look at the people in front of me and start to think "are they like me? Or are they humans? I have wolfsbane in my system, so I can't smell as easy."

"Hello miss, my name is Nathaniel. This is Perrin and  Sylvia." He says pointing to each of them. "Whats your name?" He asks.

I look at them confused, trying to figure out what they are saying.

"I'm sorry i'm deaf I can't hear you." I say quietly and shyly.

Sylvia walks up to me. She translated everything Nathaniel said in ASL.

I nod and smile. "My name is Morgan" i say using my hands. "Are you human?" I say a little embarrassed.

"No we are wolves like you. Are you able to smell?" Sylvia says.

"Yes. I have wolfsbane in my system.." i say weakly. Then i look at Perrin and Nathaniel as they are trying to figure out what is happening.

I then look back at Sylvia. "Can you tell them whats going on?" I say.

She nods and smiles politely. I watch as she explains everything that just happened.

She looks back at me. "Okay, I told them and they agree with me. We want you to get some rest. We will talk in the morning" she says with a slight look of worry on her face, which makes me a little nervous.

I nod and turn over and watches as Sylvia whispers to the guard by my door.

"What is she saying?" I thought to myself.

All of the sudden I felt a pinch in my arm. I struggled to keep my eyes open for long. And thats when everything went black.
