Living With The Bakers

Chapter 2

"Hello boys. This is Maya Edwards and she's going to be living with us from now on, so be nice to her. I think you should all introduce yourselves," Mrs Baker says. Wow, I did not expect her to have six sons. How does she still look so good after having all of them? I never thought I'd find myself in such an awkward situation.

The youngest looking two, or should I say identical twins speak up first.
"I'm Cory"

"I'm Cairo"

They both say at the exact same time. They're the cutest twins I've ever seen! They have light brown hair with green eyes and the naughtiest smiles ever. They both look at each other with mischievous looks, jump out of their chairs and run and give me a group hug. Honestly they're so adorable, I literally cannot even deal. I smile and hug them back, then they return to their chairs.

Next a boy with brown hair and green eyes gives me a toothy grin and says to me "Hi, I'm Xavier!" I can already tell he's the friendly one.

Next to him sits a boy with brown hair and blue eyes. "My name is Jake, but you can call me anytime," he says with a smirk. Seriously? He looks like, twelve. I laugh nonetheless and the boy who's name is Xavier high fives him.

"Boys, no flirting with Maya," says Mr Baker, but I can see from his smile that he's only playing. A boy with both brown hair and brown eyes speaks up next. "Hey, I'm Alex and I know I'm going to be your favorite," he says with a wink. Honestly, what is up with these boys? I chuckle at his comment and my eyes shift the last boy who hasn't introduced himself yet. He looks like the oldest and has brown hair with blue eyes. Actually, all of theses boys seem to have brown hair. The only person I'm the family that doesn't have brown hair is Mrs Baker.

"Hunter, introduce yourself!" Mrs Baker scolds.

"Hey babe. I'm Hunter, but I'm sure you already figured that out," he says with a wink and a look aimed towards Mrs Baker causing us all to laugh.

"Boys will be boys," Mrs Baker says as she rolls her eyes. "Cory and Cairo are identical twins and they are nine. Xavier is twelve and Jake is thirteen. Alex is sixteen and Hunter is seventeen, the same age as you. I'm sure you're hungry from the long journey Maya, so sit down and dig in!" The only two seats that are open is one next to Mr Baker and one next to Alex. I take the seat next to Alex. The boys immediately start dishing and eating their food as if the food will run away. When the food is passed down to me I almost moan because of how delicious it looks. It's spaghetti bolognaise! I absolutely love spaghetti bolognaise! I begin eating and moan at how delicious the food tastes.

"Get in there Maya," Alex says, causing everyone to laugh, including me.

After eating Mrs Baker let all the boys go and do whatever they want except Cory and Rory because it's their turn to help with the dishes.

"But mooooommmm. We did the dishes four days ago, that's not fair," they complain in unison. I wonder if they do everything together? I offered my help but Mrs Baker told me to go to my room and get some rest.

"Since school starts on Monday, Hunter will drive you to the mall tomorrow to buy all your school stuff. Right Hunter?" Mrs Baker says with a pointed look.
"Yes mother," Hunter huffs as he exits the kitchen. I exit the kitchen too and after getting slightly lost, finally arrive at my room. Wow, this house is too big for its own good.

I really need to pee. I look around my room and realize that I have an en suite bathroom and I didn't realize it. That's so cool. At least I won't have to share a bathroom with one of the boys. After doing my business I sit on my bed and I pull out my laptop and I'm about to Skype Alexis when I realize I don't have the WiFi password. Dammit! I get off my bed and exit my room. I knock on the door which is right across from mine in the hall. I wonder who's room this is. No one replies so I enter anyway. Wrong move. Hunter exits his en suite bathroom and he's only in a towel. Did I mention he has a six pack and a v-line and he looks super sexy right now! I cover my eyes with my hands and blush slightly.

"You could have just asked if you wanted to see me naked Cupcake," Hunter says and I can practically hear the smirk in his voice. I remove my hands from my eyes and reply "that's why I didn't ask, because I don't want to see you naked." He simply chuckles at me and moves to go and put on a shirt.
"I just wanted to know what the WiFi password is," I continue.
"Oh, that's easy, Hunter is the sexiest person alive is the password," he says cockily causing me to roll my eyes. I have a feeling I'm going to be rolling my eyes a lot. He finally gives me the password after what feels like hours of fighting and I leave his room.
"Goodnight Cupcake," I hear just as I close his door.

I walk into my room and Skype Alexis.
"Hey girl! I thought you'd never call," Alexis says as she wipes off fake tears.
"Wow, you're way too dramatic," I reply.
"I'll just ignore that rude comment. Tell me about California! Seen any hot boys yet?" She says and wiggles her eyebrows suggestively.
"Alexis, literally everyone in this family is gorgeous. And there are these twins that are nine years old that are so cute and I know they're going to be really hot when their older," I say and we continue our conversation for another half an hour. When the Skype is over I change into my pajamas, switch off my lights and climb into bed with a slight smile on my face.

Maybe life with the Bakers will be better than I thought.
