Captured and a new Friend

I woke up to a  jolt. My head hurt like hell. I rubbed my head."what the hell...". I looked around to see a bunch of people hugging eachother, crying. "What's going on? Where are we?!". I looked around. There was a window in the cart we were in.  It was lined in with bars so we couldnt escape. Outside there was a town, that looks to be the home of werewolves. "Oh um....your awake..a..are you okay...Theu hot you v..very hard.". I turned around to see a werewolf in the cart with us. He was eating icecream.[image above] I walked right up to his face and glares at him. His ears layed back. "Why did you capture us, and why are we here?!". "I...I cannot tell you...slasg t..told me not to...". I grabbed his icecream and three it to the side. "You NEED to tell me why were here! We have the right to know! You guys took us away from our home! Our family! ". I started to cry, remembering my family and friends. I cried with my head on his lap, I don't like people seeing me cry. Looking so helpless. "No
....No don't cry. Ah...i dont like seeing girls cry...". I didn't say a word to him. The memories of home flodded through my mine. When I first found lu, the breakfast  fights I had with my brother. "O-okay..I'll tell you! Just please don't cry...". I tilted my head up to face him. I noticed  his mx matches eyes. One was blue and one was gold. I wiped my eyes and stares at him." Thank you..". I noticed a pink tint appear on his cheeks. "N-No problem... well you see....they chose to c-capture you.... because....um..". His  Face to turned bright red. He leaned closer to whisper in my ear " its close to...m-mating season....". I screamed"WHAT!" He jerked backwards covering his ears, whining like a puppy.  I then realized that...werewolf ears are sensitive."oh....sorry". He gave me a weak smile. "Its..f-fine..." I felt eyes staring at us. I looked back to see everyone staring at us. "What?" They turned away quickly and went back to calming eachother down. I sighed and went back to talking with....i don't even know his name. "Hey, what's your name?". His ears pricked up. "M-me?". I nodded"oh...uh its j-Jackson...". "Ok jackson, do we have to find a mate here. Like you just can't force someone to love you! How does this work.". He looked around making sure no one was listening. " well...i shouldn't tell you anything else.....b-but...um. They choose a wolf for you to stay with in our town...and uh. You stay here for 6 months..and if you don't fall in love the-". The cart stopped moving." Ah were here! I um, gotta go....." he got up and opened the cart door. Another wolf was standing being the door. "We're any of them trouble?" Jackson shook his head no. "Good, and don't drop your icecream next time."He pointed at the icecream on the floor." It attracts animals.". He nodded and walked away shyly.

They took us out one by one. Lining us up against the cart. From there a old looking werewolf stood in front of us and looked at us closely. He then smelt us. Which I found the be really disturbing. The old wolf then took out a piece a paper and started writing on it. I paid no further attention to them. I was busy trying to find Jackson in the group. I finally spotted him in the middle of the group. He was being pestered by other wolves. He didn't seem to like it. I frowned, Jackson seems really shy. I dont think it's fair for them to pester him like that. I wanted to help him...he doesn't seem like the other wolves. They all seem evil. He on the other had is more innocent. Is that why they pester him? Cause he's different. This upsetted me.
It seemed just like our situation at home. Just cause were different,.we get judged and picked on by the other kids at home. I remember when I was little, I was playing with my knight doll while waiting for my mom to buy some clothes for me. And then I mean older proper kid suddenly grabbed my doll and broke it. He told me I wouldn't be accepted because how I was. I was so focused on Jackson that I didn't hear the old wolf  call me. Until a wolf  pushed me. "Oi! They called you!". I looked around to notice the people in the cart with me were Gone. I looked at the old wolf. "Sorry
..i didn't hear you.". He smiled"No worries child.". He looked at Jackson then at me." Ah I see... Jackson get your tail over here!". Jackson's ears pricked up. He was pushed to the front by the wolves who were pestering him. Then he slowly walked over to the old wolf. "Jackson you are in charge of this young lady. Take care of her~". The way he said it gave me goosebumps. Jackson turned to me and I noticed he's cheeks were tinted pink. Jackson walked over to me and motioned me to follow him, and I did. We were walking away from the group. Some of the werewolves whistled and congratulated him for 'finally getting a girl'. I was disgusted but also felt bad, they think so lowly of him. We walked in silence for a while. I don't really like silence. "So Jackson are you gonna continue explaining why we were brought here.". He looked at me puzzled. "They explained it when you got out..". "Well I um...wasnt really paying attention..". He made o expression."Well uh, were was i...oh yeah. Well you see, if you don't fall in love within the 6 month span then we uh....do the hunt...". He's ears layed back, he looked sad. "The hunt...what is that?". He was looking around and then he saw something. He grabbed my hand and ran inside... a icecream shop. "Jackson what are we doing in a icecream shop?". He smiled. "Getting icecream of course. Which one do you want?". He pointed at the flavors. There were so many different kinds...except no chocolate. Which I guess they can't have. Chocolate is bad for dogs, and they are sort of like dogs. I finally make up my mind."strawberry please.". He goes to order two strawberry ice creams and then we sat down at a table. "W-well
...you see. The hunt is where we release a human who didn't fall in love, and after a minute we uh
...chase them. If you want them as your mate....then if you catch them you mark them....if you don't there free.". He looked really sad talking about it. Like if he didn't like it. "Jackson...if you don't mi d me asking. How do you mark someone?". He blushes at my sudden question. "AH well um......you have to um..b-bite them....". I frowned. He noticed this and quickly responded. "Oh! Um it doesn't hurt. You lick were you wanna bite them and then you...uh bite them.....". He seemed very uncomfortable talking about this.

We got out ice creams and ate them while waking. Jackson seemed very happy eating icecream. I guess he over icecream. I ate a bit and began to think.i wonder were he's taking me..his house probably....what is everyone doing at home? Are they looking for me? Ugh, why did this have to happen at the party?! And why didn't I run away! I could have been home.....buy make would have been taken away. I guess I can't leave this place without a mate...but I don't want one!....wait....thataso means I'm going to become a were wolf. I don't want to be hunted and possibly have a Pervy mate. The only wolf I'm getting to know is Jackson. He seems very sweet and kind. I guess he will become my best friend here. I also have to know my way arou-. My thoughts were interrupted by someone grabbing my hand. I quickly turned to see who it was. It was Jackson. "Sorry, but um. We arrived at my house....i don't know if you would like to explore..it looked like you were busy thinking -". I laughed. "You apologize a lot.". He's face turned bright red. "AH sorry do you do d it annoying?!". I shook my head. "No, I find it funny.". "Oh..", I looked at his house. It looked very nice. He had a little flower garden in the front. "I'd like to explore tommarrow....jackson?". He's ears pricked up. "Uh yes?". I faced him and smiled. "Since I will stay here for a long time....i would like us to become best friends.". He cheeks tinted pink. "O-okay.". We entered his house and it didn't have a family like I expected...he's probably a orphan. "You'll stay in the room over there.". Jackson pointed to a door near the kitchen  area. "You can freshen up if you want...you've had a rough day...". I nodded and walked into the room. The room was small but it has it's own bathroom. I went into the bathroom and started a warm bath. I took of the dress that I had on, which I forgot about i had on till now. I goth in the tub and rested. The warm water soothing my tense body. "I hope they find me.... Jackson is very nice and I will consider him a friend." I sighed. "I'll think about this tommarrow....im just gonna rest for now. I relaxed, almost falling asleep till a thought struck upon me. "I do. t have any clothes to sleep in....." I looked around the bathroom. "And there's no towel....oh just my luck." I leaned against the tub and called out to Jackson. "Jackson! C-can you bring me a towel please!". I heard what oh see like a spoon drop and running to one room and then running towards my room. "I'M SO SORRY! I DIDN'T CHECK FOR TOWEL!". Like a clutz he ran in the bathroom. We stares at eachother as I TRIED TO hide myself behind the tub walls. Jackson grew red and covers his eyes. He slowly handed me the towel. "S-sorry....". I got up and wrapped myself in the towel. "It's fine...". He peeked through his hands to see if I was covered. He withdrew his hands from his face, which is still red. "D-do you need anything else?." I nodded remembering my clothing situation. "I don't have any clothes.... all I have are undergarments. Can I borrow a hurt to sleep in for now?". He nodded and went to go retrieve a shirt. I cried my self and put on the under garments I had on...wrapped the towel around myself again and got my dress from the floor. I threw it into a baker in the corner of the room. Jackson came in and with a plain  shirt. "It's the smallest one I have...". He handed it to me, I thanked him and said good night. I put on the shirt and went to bed.
