Aurora

When I was five I moved to Bozeman Montana. We moved at night because well my parents cant go out during the day. Im the only one in my family that can go out during the day besides my cousins and all of them are back in England. Bozeman Montana is beautiful, but I honestly didnt want to move here when England was where I grew up.

I walked into the new house that was huge, but it wasnt as big as our mansion back home. All of our stuff was already there. I walked into my room and sat down on the bed. I had a window in my room and I looked out of it into the house next to me. There was a little boy next door. Ok, he was probably a year older than me. He had short black hair and deep blue eyes. He looked over at me and smiled. He mouthed something to me and I gave him a confused face. "What?" I said.

He held up a finger telling me to wait one minute, he rumaged around his room when he found what he was looking for he sat down on his bed and it looked like he was writing something down. "Im Brian." He held up a pad of paper to the window.

I got up off my bed and picked up a pad of paper and a red sharpie. Red is one of my favorite colors. I sat back down on my bed and started writing. "Im Aurora." I wrote in big red letters.

"How old are you?" Brian wrote back.

I looked down thinking about what I should tell him. "5 you?" I asked.

"6." He wrote back again. I nodded which confirmed my conclusion that the boy was a year older thab me. His mother came into the room just then and called him. He said something to her and got up completely ignoring me now.

I got up too and left my room. I went down stairs and went to the fridge. I was hungry. Or rather I was thirsty. I picked up the blood bag made a cut with my vampire fang and poured the contents of it in a cup and started drinking greedily. The color of my eyes had turned violet, my eyes are normally green. When I experience bloodlust however they turn violet.

Both my parents walked in at that precise moment. "We are going to hunt. We will be back soon." They both said at exactly the same time. It was so weird how they could finish each others sentences. I nodded once and they left. After I was done drinking I went back into my bedroom about to go to bed and started closing the curtains, but I saw Brian holding the pad of paper up again. "Good night, Aurora." I looked up at him after I read that and he was smiling.

I smiled back and shut the curtain.

Present Day

Im now Seventeen years old, have emerald green eyes, long blond hair, perfect skin, curvy and long legs that all guys like. If you havent noticed Im a vampire. I get my blood from the blood bank while my parents go out and hunt humans. They are the old type of vampires. My parents are both allergic to garlic and holy water. They can die if a wooden stake is stabbed through the heart; which incidently hurts me too. They cant walk out in sunlight; I can. They cant touch crosses; I can. They sleep in coffins; I dont. They cant go to church; Ive never tried if I could or not. And I go to public school with humans.

My best friend is Brian the little boy Ive known since I was five. He is now eightteen and the hottest bad boy that I know. Brian has short black hair, deep blue eyes, muscular build, tall almost 6'3, all the guys want to be him and most of the girls in the school want him. Hell, I even want him, but Ive made it clear to him that Im only interested in him as a friend and nothing more.

Brian doesnt know Im a vampire, he just knows that my family is bit more than just a normal family because of all the rumors that circle around me or about my family. It doesnt seem like he cares though and sticks up for me when no one else does.

That day I got to the lunch table Brian and I always sit at. I smiled at him when I sat down and he smiled back. His smile is so cute it makes his gorgeous blue eyes sparkle. "Hey Aurora. Hows your day so far?" Brian asks me.

"Its good. Yours?" I asked back taking a bite of my salami sandwhich. Im the only one in my family that can eat human food without having to throw it up later.

"Pretty good." He said looking at me. "Aurora, I have something to tell you." Brian added.

"Ok." I said shrugging and taking another bite.

"I love you." I blushed at what he said honestly it was like it just tumbled out of his mouth. I looked up at Brian in shock and he was blushing to. His eyes were looking right at me.

"Ummm...." I said and then swallowed my food that was in my mouth. "I dont think you should say that, bad things will happen." I told him looking into his blue eyes with my emerald green ones.

"What bad things?" Brian asked looking at me.

"Just bad things." I said and I wasnt going to elaborate on it. I got up and left the table going to my next class of the day early. I avoided Brian the rest of the day.

I flopped down on my bed when I got home from school. "What am I going to do now?" I thought.
