Chapter 3
Few Months Later
Aurora
I was avoiding Brian and he knew it. The only time I would talk to him was during school and when I was in my room writing notes to him out the window.
"We havent hung out in awhile." Brian wrote to me.
I frowned. "I've been busy. :(" I wrote back in the red sharpie with a sad smiley face.
He frowned back before answeing his writing more sloppy as he wrote faster. "You've been saying that for months." Brian wrote.
"Well, I am." I said defensively and I could hear a growl deep in my throat.
I got up off my bed not wanting to talk to him anymore. I walked downstairs to the kitchen opening the fridge. I grabbed a bloodbag and started scarfing the contents down my throat. When I was done my parents came into the room. "Aurora, we are having a dinner party tonight and you need to get ready." My mother told me and smiled.
"Alright." I said and started up the stairs.
"Aurora, wear one of your dresses, its a special occassion." My mother said again.
I went into my room and started looking into my closet. I ended up picking a red and black dress and a white one. I set both of the dresses on my bed and stood back looking from one to the other. I couldnt decide which to wear. I saw movement out of the corner of my vision by my window. Knowing it was Brian I turned to face him. "Pick the white one!" He wrote in big words. He looked up at me and held his index finger at me telling me to wait one minute. Brian looked down at his pad of paper writing. "Whats the occassion?" He asked.
"Dinner party." I replied back.
Brian smiled. "Have fun, wear the white dress, hair down." He wrote.
"Alright thanks. :))" I said with a smiley face.
"Good luck." Brian was now standing at his window.
"Thank you." I mouthed over to him. He nodded once before closing his curtain.
I got into the shower and got out shortly after that. I put a towel around myself and went to my vanity table starting to brush my hair. I kept my hair down like Brian wanted but I put my bangs in a clip; so they were out of my eyes. I then opened my eye shadow that was silver and sparkly. Next I put a slight blush to my cheeks and put on shiny lip gloss. I got up and put my undergarments on before I put on my dress. At that moment there was a knock on the door and my father walked in. "Want me to help with the zipper?" My father asked. I turned my back to him in answer. When the zipper was zipped my father and I looked at ourselves in the mirror. "You look amazing." My father told me with a huge smile on his face that showed his fangs.
I blushed. "Thank you." After that he left.
I sat down on my bed and put my white ballet flats on. I grabbed my phone and sent a text to Brian. "Come to the window." I texted.
I got up from my bed and went to the window just as Brian opened his curtain. He froze when he saw me looking me up and down. Brian grabbed his pad of paper. "You look beautiful." Smiling at me.
"Thank you." I mouthed to him and started heading out my bedroom door.
The doorbell rang as I was just at the top of the stairs. The dress I was wearing was white and a cinderella dress so the toole puffed it out and it hit the floor. It was strapless and the top had white lace over it under it the fabric around my waist had small sparkles in it that went in compliment with the lace. Also in the fabric were little red roses. The dress was beautiful and I honestly loved the way it fit me.
