Khalani POV

After chilling all day at the Kiing's house, I decided to go to Jamal's house and talk to him about yesterday's mishap. Man that was funny 😊. After jamming to the radio for a couple more minuets, I finally got out the car.

"Hi Ms. Jay, how are you going today ?" I smiled.

"Wonderful now that I've seen your beautiful smile" she smiled back.

"Oh stop it Ms. Jay" I blushed. She is the sweetest lady ever 😊.

"Alright, I'm done messing with you ! Jamal's upstairs" she said letting me in.

"Thank you" I yelled as I jogged up the stairs. Not even caring about him having company or just getting out the shower, I bursted through his door to scare him.

"Shit K, you scared me !" He said sitting up in his bed.

"That was the intention" I laughed, "what you been up to today ?" I said laying at the foot of his bed.

"Chillin, getting my mind right" he shrugged.

"I bet. So you know why I'm here then"

"Of course" he sighed.

"How the hell did you guys start talking anyway?"

"She had been eyeballing me for a couple weeks in chemistry, so I finally approached her and we hit it off from there"

"I don't trust her J ! I don't like her !"

"You don't even know her !"

"I know enough about her Jamal ! She's known as the neighborhood whore, she'll fuck anything walking. She threatened me to stay away from Kiing "or else" ! Ha, like that shit would scare me. I just feel like she's using you babe, and you're too good of a guy to let her use you like that" I frowned.

"I understand you're looking out for me, but I'm tired of being a third wheel ! I wanna be able to chill wit my girl when I'm not chilling with you guys. I wanna take somebody out on a romantic date and buy somebody gifts. I-I-I *loud sigh* I just don't wanna be alone Khalani" he said before laying down and covering his head with a pillow.

"Aww Jamal ! I never knew you felt that way" I frowned as I crawled to him. I told the pillow off his head and made him face me.

"You're too busy with your own relationship to stop and actually realize that I'm not in one. You and Lauren" he sighed.

"I'm sorry Jamal. I never meant to hurt you or make you feel neglected in any type of way, really. I was just happy that I was happy, I never thought you were unhappy"

"It's ok Khalani, it's not like you can fix everything in the world" he said pulling me into a hug.

"I can try !!" I said resting my head on his chest. I know what you're thinking, but we're best friends ! We use to do this all the time as kids. Lauren too !

"No ma'am" he laughed.

"Anything is possible" I shrugged.
