Jazzmine

I woke up to the sound of knocks on my door. "What" I groaned. "Get up! We're gonna go to the mall!" Lexi yelled from the other side. I groaned and slowly got up. "I'll be out in a minute" I called out.

I grabbed a spaghetti strapped white tank top and some blue ripped jeans. I put them on and went to the restroom to finish getting ready. I looked into the mirror and saw my bruise was still there buh it was fading. I put on some foundation to cover it.

"Are you ready?" Lexi asked. I nodded grabbing my Jean jacket. We went out the door and to her car. She started driving towards the mall and I pulled out my phone. "I feel like going on a shopping spree when we get there" I said. "Same girl!" Lexi laughed.

We pulled into the parking lot and found a spot. The first shop we went to was Starbucks. When we got our coffee we got a table. "This is what I needed" I sighed. "You just need to be cared for" Lexi says back. "You should find yourself a man" she suggested. "I don't know if I can move on so easily" I said back. She shook her head and took another sip of her coffee.

"Ooh girl don't look now but there is a really cute guy a couple tables to the left tottaly checking you out!" Lexi said. I did a casual napkin drop and looked over. "He is cute!" I agreed. He got up and started walking over. Lexi threw a pen out of my purse onto the floor. He bent over and handed it to me. "Did you drop this?" He asked.

He was so cute I couldn't think straight. I looked into his beautiful blue eyes and nodded. "I'm Brenen" he said holding out his hand to shake.
"I-i am jazzmine" I replied shaking his hand. "Beautiful name" he said smiling. I slightly blushed and smiled.
"Will you let me take you to dinner tomorrow?" He asked. I stood silent. "Yes she will" Lexi said quickly. He handed me his phone and I put my number in.

"See you later jazzmine" Brenen said. I waved still smiling and he walked out the doors. I internally screamed.
"Ooh jazz!!" Lexi teased. I smiled and she laughed. We both finished our coffees and began shopping. Today was great.
