Thalia was sent to a school by Artemis to find more recruits. Irritating the lieutenant to no end. She has three possible recruits so far.

Thalia's POV

I was chatting with Hailey by our lockers, when Anna opened her locker loudly signaling she was in a bad mood I smirked

"who was it this time?" I asked her "Hans, he keeps on telling me I have a crush on him during recess, so I not only gave him a black eye this time I made him go airborne flying through the window and landing him to the bushes" She said smiling

"You'll get detention," Hailey said, not hiding the amusement in her voice. "I really envy you at time Thalia with your electrical blue eyes and your glare you can almost make any boy cry for it's momma" Hailey sighed to me.

"Believe me it took me months to practice the monster glare" I said chuckling, thinking of Percy's own glare.

The bell rang signaling the next period I sighed, P.E. is next I always hated it and would usually skip it but yesterday, the principal noticed this and threatened to kick me out.

Pssh what demigod needs P.E., fighting monsters can make any demigod buff and excluded from P.E. even the Aphrodite cabin started training after the war. I sighed, I took off my shirt to change, and felt all the girls staring at me I cursed silently I forgot to use the mist to cover all of my scratches from the wars I glared at them

"Do you mind I'm changing." I snapped at them they all looked away embarrassed, I groaned hoping the P.E. teacher is a decent person when I went to the gym.

I immediately brightened it was Mermaid, Kelp Heads sister!

I walked up behind her and whispered. "Boo!" she chuckled "I know that's you Thalia, good thing to. You can help me, as we both know that I may be a good shot, I'm hopeless at archery." she said facing me "What are you doing here?" I asked her

"Your regular teacher is sick and unfortunate enough it was Apollo he got sick because Hermes played a prank on him" she said

"Excuse me what are you saying" Tammi said obnoxiously, "and where is Mr. A" a cheerleader wailed at the back, it took a second for me to realize "we were speaking in Greek" I said while face palming.

"I am Ms. Jackson, your substitute for today. I am a trained demigod and will be teaching you today various ways to use weapons. You're classmate Thalia will assist me." Luna said, gesturing to the wall filled with weapons before gesturing to me.

  "Questions?" She asked, there was a pan of silence and Luna was about to say something until one of them spoke. "Aren't you a little young?" They asked. "Young for what exactly?" Luna asked patiently, but I smirk hearing her small mutter of Greek curses.

"To be a trained demigod?" They replied. "You look like you wouldn't last a hand-to-hand combat with us." A jock pointed out, Luna smiled calmly. "Judge me by the way I look, I can;t find my care for your opinions anyway." She said to the jock, smiling creepily at him. "For the demigod question. We're trained young, a lot of us don't make it pass fifteen. So no matter what you're age, you're trained in what way you can defend yourself." I answered.

There was another long silence until I realized my mistake. "We're?" Anna questioned. "Thalia please demonstrate the use of a bow and arrow." Luna said, ignoring the question. I smiled as I notice my bow and quiver with my circlet.

I notched the arrow and took a deep breath. "Bet you she misses." Someone said loudly, I didn't need to turn to know it was Hans. I notched two more and fired.

-bam- -bam- -bam-

All straight into the bullseye, before I could gloat, glass shattered and monsters entered the gym. The mortal screamed in horror, I shared a look with Luna before running to the small band of monsters to attack them when a voice stopped us. 

"You wouldn't dare attack mortals, with a god in their presence wouldn't you?" A familiar voice asked. I smirked as the monster stopped and disappeared with someone's snap of their fingers. I turned to see a man in their mid-twenties not wearing a uniform who had sun-kissed blonde hair and a perfect tan.

"Lord Apollo," I said, bowing my head in respect. "Apollo." Luna said, inclining her head. "Thalia, nice to see you again." Apollo said. "You should respect a god." He said to Luna, she made a face at him. "You should respect the demigod that woke up early to teach a class she only took to see a friend." She retorted.

Apollo grinned. "Run along then." He said making shooing motions. "And tell my baby sister to visit more."; "She's not your little sister." "Make her keep thinking that."

"Thalia?" My three mortal friends asked. I smiled at them and held out my hand. "Join the Huntresses of Artemis, to travel around the world." I said, they all looked at one another and grinned, joining their hands together and taking Thalia's hands. "Deal."
