"I'll have to tell you sooner or later......"So she was hiding something
"What do you mean Master Aiko?", Lilli asked who was filled with concern.
Master Aiko fell silent for a bit, with hesitation written all over her face. I could tell she wasn't ready to tell us what she was hiding, but she knew that we were ready to hear it... whether it would make us or break us.....
"Hisashi had a vision", she started with a sigh, "A vision that I knew was coming."
"So he told you?", I asked.
Master Aiko gave me a quick nod, "He and I are the only ones who know it, we both didn't want to cause panic throughout the town"
"Why would it cause panic in to-"
"What was in "this" vision?", Lilli chimed in.
"He told me that he saw someone who came from Kronos, a threat invading our village stealing the Luna. He also saw someone die and to his surprise, that death was... his"
Lilli let out a small gasp, her expression turning into trauma like. My eyes began to widen and thoughts emerged, making me realize that the vision he had predicted the events that happened last week and his death......
He knew his death was coming... But why didn't he do anything to prevent it?
"He also saw 2 people who looked like you two that were in danger while traveling somewhere. You were fighting with a group of people and he saw a glimpse of blood in there as well"
"Blood huh.... When did this happen?", Lilli asked.
"It occurred to him... a few months ago, but he finally told me a week after he had it. He didn't tell me everything in his vision, but only the parts he could", Master Aiko stated.
"Hmm... so that means he planned to not tell anyone in the beginning. But what was your reaction to this Master?", Lilli asked.
"Unlike you, I wasn't really in any sort of shock or astonishment, rather than being accepting. Like I said, I knew it was coming because even though Hisashi kept his expressions hidden, I could sense that he was worrying about something. But I decided to respect his secrets and wait for the right time he wanted to spill them to me"
"If he only told you, then why didn't he tell anyone else? Let alone us?" I said with my voice growing angry as I slammed my fist against the nightstand.
"Mamoru, don't be so demanding!! Master Aiko doesn't know everything. Hisashi only told her bits remember?", Lilli comforted me with her hand on my shoulder. By this gesture, I slowly calmed down and relaxed my shoulders with my head facing down.
I sighed, "But why...... why didn't he tell us?"
"He probably didn't want you to worry and freak out. He knew that you would go out of your way to stop this from happening", Master Aiko replied.
I rested my hand on my chin and crossed my legs, pondering about this situation not knowing how Hisashi first felt about this. Was he in shock that he predicted his death, like I was? Whatever the case is, I guess it was a good decision that he didn't tell us.
"Then he sure did do a good job hiding it and not expressing his emo-", I caught myself there, suddenly remembering something. Something that I heard Hisashi murmur under his breathe while chasing down the intruder that night.......
