Summer and I started walking towards the carnival. We were going to meet up with Shawn and Zoe at the lake. I decided to tell Summer about what I did this morning.
"What the heck Angie! You shouldn't be walking around alone! That man is after you!! And you don't question strangers!" Summer scolded me. I rolled my eyes.
"I know, I know. I'm sorry." I mumble. Summer eyed me and then changed the subject. After a while we get to the carnival and see Shawn and Zoe waiting at the ticket booth. Shawn had dark circles under his eyes, he looked like he has barely slept.
"Hey! Shawn, are you ok?!" Summer asked worriedly while hugging him. Shawn made eye contact with me and hestitated.
"Yeah" Shawn nodded after a few seconds. Summer still looked worried but we went into the carnival. We played a bunch of games and rode a lot of rides. After about 2 hours we got some food then sat down on the dock of the lake to eat. We were laughing and having fun when I heard someone running up to us. We all turned around and stood up. It was Hayden. He looked 10 times worse then Shawn. He ran up to us and grabbed Shawn by the shoulders.
"SHAWN HE KILLED HER. HE KILLED HER. HE IS COMING HERE NOW!!" Hayden yelled, his eyes crazy. Shawn's face went really pale.
"We need to get out of here!" Shawn yelled at us.
"Why?! What is going on?!" I screamed back. Hayden looked at me with tears in his eyes. He started to say something but was quickly interrupted by a gun shot. I look back at the carnival and there he was. The man that killed my mom, and he was was holding a gun.
