Fifth Date

"To say the least, the fifth date was amazing. We talked about ourselves and our works. I found out that she's an artist. Also that she has exactly 15 tattoos on her body and plan to get more.  She is literally the most amazing woman I had the grace of getting to know." I looked over to Miley to see her rolling her eyes. Giggling I knew exactly why. I always get like this whenever coming home after a date.

"Could we please not talk about your girlfriend and instead talk about this history project we have to get done?" She says as I basically blushed once again. "She's not my girlfriend Miley!" I said sternly and she just made yapping hand movements at me. "Let's just get to this project."

"Well here's the manuscript you guys have been basically riding my ass for." I heard laughter from my peers, they have gotten used to my rather potty mouth. "What you all know that they were running me on a clock."

"Jai you know that's there job right?" I huffed but nodded at my friend Troye's words. I knew it was their job but still, that didn't mean it didn't get on my nerves. "I know it's their job but you know how long it takes to write a 100k story especially in the span of 7 months. I mean its durable but have they ever heard of the words writer's block. I swear I experienced that at least 100 freaking times."

The writing wasn't hard until it got to the point where you have a time limit and writer's block liked to peek in more than once. These months I was told to write about pirates, specifically about a female pirate falling in love with a male pirate. It was fairly simple in the beginning until I was told that I only had 20 chapters that's when it came in that I had a lot of freaking planning to do.

"I mean I had to write a 50k story within 10 chapters." I glared at him and he put his arms up. "Okay, guys settle down. It's time to discuss what everyone next assignment will be with the exception of Jai seeing as she gets a 2-week break."

After he said that I basically zoned out, my mind automatically switching over to Emily. Yes, I learned of her name after she walked me to my door and kissed me on the cheek. Honestly, I would have to say that was the best date I ever had. My mind switched over to a darker, sexier and more naughty side. Images intruded my mind and as I struggled to push them away I could hear my name being called.

"Jai." I was snapped back to reality when my manager called my name out. "I'm going to need you to travel to California sometime in the next two weeks. Can you do that for me?" I nodded my head. "Can I bring someone along with me?" I questioned and he thought for a moment before nodding. "Just make sure to bring them back in one piece." He said with a grin on his face, everyone began to laugh. Everyone knew about my sexuality and my love for all kinds of people.

"Haha, very funny guys. Of course, I'll bring them back in one piece, maybe limping but one piece." My peers gave me a knowing look while I laughed. They all know how I am in bed since I took at least some of them there. "We all know about your sex-fluid sexuality Jai." I winked at them before standing up. "Well, I have a fifth date to get too. Bye guys." With that I left them there, some looking at me with disgust and others with longing.

Now I can admit I'm a bit conceited but let's admit who isn't?

"Hey." I smile at her. She smiles back and that warms my heart. "How are you on this fine afternoon?" I question and she answers. Nodding along as she runs through her day and I began to run through mines. "Is it hard being a writer?" She questioned and I nod my head big time. Taking a sip of the surprisingly delicious coffee that she had somehow convinced me to get. Seems she already making me try new things.

"Honestly it's hard but also easy. Literally, the easiest thing that I've ever done, but it really makes your mind work. Makes you feel somewhat responsible for the people you're writing about. For me, it's all a movie to me. I remember when I was younger and I use to have horrible writer's block and motivation was down to shit when it came to writing."

She giggled and it was heaven in my ears. "But I grew up and matured with my writing, learning why I lacked motivation and where the writer blocks come from. I just had to put the work in and I would succeed, but enough about me. How is it being an artist?" I questioned and a different smile appeared on her face. This time it was one of a certain satisfaction.

"It's honestly the best. I get to wake up at any time I want and just paint. Hell if I feel like it I can draw a flower and sell it for about 200 dollars, but I'm not any rip-off. I get to put expression and make people see what I want to see. I have a voice when it comes to painting and no matter how hard someone tries they can't take that away from."

"I see you're very passionate about what you do." She gave me a goofy smile and a nod. Something I was content on having. Our relationship like putting glue on a piece of paper, wet and sticky at first but hopefully led to something that will stay stuck for a long time.

"Emily, I have a question, would you go to California with me? I have a job thing going on and I was-"

"Yes!"
