Lafayette's POV
"John...?" I asked, surprised. I looked at him, examining his face and realizing that he looked just like the little God I had just met yesterday. I thought it was strange that I had not only saved this little God, but also that I had just happened upon him again. He was utterly beautiful and stunning, though when I had happened upon him in his godly form and attire, he was even more so. I glanced around and realized who far I had walked, I had carried him down to the drab and basically abandoned part of the Grecian city. I stopped and set him down.
"You have returned...? But why...? I am sure that the Gods have better things to do than be around us mortals with our petty squabbles and squalid streets." I said.
"I came back to see you!" He said with a smile and brushed a loose curl behind his ear. I felt my cheeks flush and my heart skipped a beat as I smiled, his teeth bright as the stars and he radiated waves of naivety and innocence. He was picturesque, like the most beautiful painting come to life; one of which I had the honor of seeing yet again. But what really made my face flush and my heart skip a beat was that he had come back to see me. A god wanted to see me. It was hard to believe it but with the sincerity in his voice and how certain he was about his words, it must have been true. M
"Lafayette?" I heard his sweet little voice say. I realized he had been talking the whole time I was thinking.
"Oh sorry, I was thinking, I did not hear you..." I said and looked at him and realized he had reviled his god form. His beautiful crystal blue irises shone like the brightest night stars, and the purple tint of his skin was beautiful and soft as the petals of a purple tulip. And the stars that dotted his body, connected into constellations took my breath away. And his curls were pulled back neatly into a ponytail, a few loose curls framed his face perfectly.
"Tellement beau..." I said softly under my breath.
"W-What...?" He asked, blushing slightly, his cheeks turning a darker shade of purple.
"N-Nothing." I quickly said, my cheeks becoming more flushed.
"W-well anyways, I came back to see you and to see the mortal world!" He smiled.
"Well it would be my honor to show you around the city but might I suggest you wear something that does not look like a slave's outfit...?" I said, tilting my head.
"Of course!" He giggled and changed to his mortal appearance, wearing a pure white toga with a golden pin on the shoulder. I smiled softly and held out my hand to him which he graciously took and we began our small tour of the city though the whole time, I couldn't seem to take my eyes off him...
