Raj's POV:
"Where were you last evening dude? Had been looking for you." Ronnie asked while we were walking towards our class.
A small smile formed on my face as I thought about the beautiful time spent yesterday. "With Aditi."
Wait. Did I say beautiful? Okay. I need to confess. I myself really didnt expect but I actually had a good time with her.
He stopped in his tracks, almost shouting "With whom?"
I turned around to see him giving me a shocked and what-the-hell look. I rolled my eyes at his little drama, throwing my arm over his shoulder "Dont give me that look yaar. That wasn't something illegal."
"Wasnt something that I would expect from you too. Don't you think you're taking this bet-thing a bit too seriously? " He snapped back, giving a bored look.
"Its ok dude. All's fair in love, war and bets. And besides, I actually had fun!" I really did. And more than anything, I was glad that for once, I didnt spend my evening drinking and was still totally satisfied and happy.
Besides, Aditi's a really sweet girl and I have this strange urge of knowing more and more about her. But, sshhh. I'm not going to tell this to Ron in anyway. Top Secret! Just between you and me *wink*"Raj this is just..."
"Hey Raj." I heard some female voice calling from behind, causing Ronnie to drop whatever he was going to say. Turning back, I saw Divya rushing towards me, but slowed down when she saw I stopped walking. God! She's so sexy. And the way she sways from left to right to left to right, man, thats a real treat to the eyes. Freak Raj! Stop thinking this way. I shook my head to delete those wicked thoughts.
"Hey there beautiful." I said slipping my hands in my jeans pockets, as she almost reached near me.
She was breathing a little more heavily or should I say, dramatically than required, from the rushed walking.
"I've been searching for you in the whole college." She complained, almost panting.
I couldnt help but let out a chuckle at her drama "Really babe? Lucky me then." I stared into her eyes with a smirk.
She lowered her eyes blushing "Aww Raj. You're so sweet. You really condiser yourself lucky talking to me?" She looked up to me with hopeful eyes, making me chuckle again. Of course, not loudly.
If only Aditi was so easy to deal with. *Sigh*
"Why were you searching me babe? Anything important?"
"Oh yaa. I was getting reallyy bored. Lets catch a movie after college, if you're free?" She said, again looking at me with hopeful eyes.
I opened my mouth to say 'yaa sure', when something clicked my mind. She's Aditi's friend. Maybe Aditi has plotted her to check on my "character" or something. They keep doing stuff like this in movies all the time. Haha. Smart move, Aditi Mehra, but I'm smarter! I won't embarass myself by falling in such pits.
"N..Noo I'm sorry. I... I'm busy today. Really sorry babe." I said, putting my hand on her shoulder. Her face fell when I said this, but I shrugged and turned to leave. "Getting late for the lecture right now. Catch you later. Take care."
"What the hell did just happen? Raj Singhania refused a girl, let me mention, a hot girl for a movie date. When she was herself asking you for it? This has to be unreal man!" It was amusing to see Ronnie in so much awe for what I just did.
