My first love

I don't know how to start this note
I think if I ever said it out loud I might choke
It all started over a favor
I was scared but I still wanted to meet her
My hands were shaking
I swear I was sweating
And I couldn't breath
She had these big brown eyes
Inside I died
Cause I thought she was an angel sent for me
The first time we kissed was magic
No matter what my head was saying, my heart, she had it
The first time she told me she loved me, she stole my breath away
I thought to myself "Out of all the days of my life, today is the best day"
The first time I'd cut she was there for me
Said that I didn't need to feel this way, happy was something I deserved to be
But that isnt all the memories that I'm thinking about in my head
They're not the memories that made me wish I was dead
The first time you kissed him you said it was a mistake
You said for me to take you back, it was a risk I was willing to take
The first time you told me you loved someone different
I wanted to rip my heart out, in hopes that you would fix it
The first time you left me here alone
Was also the last cause then you were long gone
Did you ever wonder where that would leave me?
You had me chained to you love but I didn't want to be free
