Chapter 8

It had been one month now since the day of their marriage and life for Chuck and Blair just couldn't be better. Every morning they would wake up in each other's tight embrace and had a passionate time every night.

About two days ago Blair started suspecting that she might be with child. How could she not? She had all the symptoms and had been practicing the activity to get pregnant every night and most mornings.

That's why today she asked the doctor if he could come over to confirm it. She had to be very careful for her husband not to find out. She wanted it to be a surprise if she was really having his child.

The doctor checked her and asked her some questions about how she was feeling and calculated she was about 3 to  4 weeks pregnant. He gave her some meals to follow and some recommendations. She was all over the moon to listen and instead asked him to leave it all with Dorota, one of the maids.

She went all the way across the château to the office of her husband. She knocked the door and she heard Chuck saying to come in. He was with one of the officers but as soon as he saw her asked him to leave. He wanted to have some time with his wife since he was having a really boring day.

"What brings my lovely wife by? You
usually never come to the office during the day." He told her as he was wrapping his arms around her. She gave him a warming smile and a small peck on the lips.

"Well I have something really important to tell you." She told him "Oh really? What is it?" He got really worried when he saw her starting to get her eyes wet. Was she sick? Was she leaving him?  A million thoughts like this went through his mind, except the one thing she was gonna say.

"I'm with child Chuck, we are gonna be parents." Did he hear right? Did she just say he was carrying his Child? He was gonna be a father? He was speechless.

She was scared of what his reaction would be. He had told her he wanted to start a family with her but was he ready? Was he gonna love her still after this? Was he gonna love their child?

"Blair, are you serious?" He asked her and she nodded. He gave her a big smile and pulled her into his arms. He couldn't believe how much he loved this woman and how she was giving him everything he had ever wanted. He had never been as happy as he was now.

He was going to have a child.

But most importantly he was going to have a child with the love of her life.

He suddenly saw different scenarios of what his life would he with his family.

"I love you, so much," he said between kisses and snuggling in her neck. "I don't deserve you, yet you make me the happiest man on the entire world." He told her with such a loving look in his eyes.

Suddenly Blair gave him a sweet but saddened look, "Don't you ever say you don't deserve us. We are going to love to till the end of time." She told him knowing he needed a reassurance.

And that was all Chuck had ever needed,

A family.

A forever..
