Y/n's p.o.v
I got out a relic i had found a while ago and a potion i had gotten from hailey. I combined those two items together the relic glowed extremely bright then i ran to shad's palace it worked the shadow knights were on the ground very much alive but the potion forces them under my control. I made my way to shad as i expected the potion didn't effect him "y/n why are you here" shad said "I'm here for you this ends now" i said i drew my sword and when he wasn't looking i put a fragment from that relic aaron used to kill zane and another one that would split aaron and shad so that aaron wouldn't be killed as well. Shad drew his sword i was blocking just waiting for his sword to hit that spot where those to relic fragments were. Then he managed to knock the sword out of my hands. I turned into my divine warrior form. Like the last time he froze aaron took over "y/n!! Get out of here!!" Aaron shouted "NO I'M SORRY AARON" i shouted then ran for my sword and struck him where the relic fragments were placed once again a bright light appeared i felt myself disappearing then there was an explosion

Aaron's p.o.v
"NO!!!! Y/N!!!!" I yelled when the light faded y/n and shad were gone and the huge explosion blew me backwards into a wall i looked over and saw a piece of paper there was something written on it i picked it up it said

Aaron if you are reading this then i was successful at my mission and saved you by now everyone has most likely read there notes so go home aaron go live your life with alina,lilith,and aphmau if you are wondering about barley then i didn't take her with now she is with alina and lilith so aaron this is goodbye

I was crying y/n was really gone she did this to save me i ran home back to everyone back to aphmau i took the note with me. When i returned there malachi was crying alongside sasha and so many others they were all devastated about y/n aphmau saw me and ran up to me with tears in her eyes her voice sounded like she had been crying i hugged her. "A-aron is she really gone?" Aphmau asked me "y-yes" i said tears streaming down my face. Barley ran up to me she looked worried i could sense she wanted y/n "she's gone" i whispered to her barley just stared at me and yelped this was one of the saddest days of our lives especially malachi and sasha i saw alina i hugged her aphmau told her i was her dad same for lilith nobody was the same after that day

everyone thinks irene is a hero the truth is nobody is a bigger hero then y/n.
