Chapter 2:
'Phew! I sighed as I got home after school. It was summer, I was full with relief as I leapt up to my bedroom with Lilli and stuck my laptop on. Please be online, I practically begged. 'Oh damn!' Lilli humphed looking up from her blackberry. 'What?' I shrugged. 'I forgot, I can't stay over tonight - we are going to our Aunts tomorrow, it's a family thing.' She sighed. 'Ohh, don't worry, it's fine. We definately will arrange something soon with all of us.' I replied.
'Yeah! That would be great and...ooh' Lilli stopped in her tracks and pretended to kiss my computer screen which flashed up with a picture of our boys. Zoe is in love with Zayn, Lilli adores Liam, Holly loves Harry, Nicole adores Niall and obviously Louis is MINE! It's quite cool really, five girlies and five scrumptilicious boys. 'And what' I laughed. 'And what?' They had wiped Lilli's mind blank. 'You were saying?' I asked. 'I was saying I love Liam?'
I chucked a pillow at her face and she screamed 'Oy!' 'Your such a numpty!' I replied. She stuck out her tongue at me and simply stuttered 'What are you on about?' I reassured her not to worry. I waited years for my laptop to finally load Twitter. I briefly scrolled through my mentions and news feed noticing one tweet which caught my eye.

Awww, I thought and carried on browsing. Suddenly, my heart leapt. I blinked and felt a hot rush running through my veins from bottom to top.

'What?' I muttered aloud as my blood began to boil. Lilli glanced up from her phone. 'Whaa...' She trailed off and looked at me worriedly. I could feel the tears welling up in my eyes but I pushed them away, half hoping it was some kind of a joke. James was my boyfriend, and he had been for two years! We never fighted, what the hell was he doing.
My stomach clenched as I read the tweets again and Lilli bit her lip. 'Don't worry babe, it's just a wind up, James would never do anything like that. And who's Jess anyway?' She tried to cheer me up but I pulled away, wincing at the sound of Jess's name. Reluctantly, I clicked on her and up popped her profile.
Maybe I'm not pretty and expensive, and maybe I can't give James everything he wants but this is crazy. She is so not his type. I started to feel more confident in it being just a joke so I unlocked my blackberry to see what was going on. James' dp said it all. To be honest, they looked amazing together. Her hand neatly fitted into his and they smiled in each others eyes. I was utterly heartbroken. The tears began to fall heavily and I cried silently with Lilli by my side, trying all she could to comfort me. I began to think, what had I done? Did I give him his beans cold or was his birthday present last week not enough? That just made me cry more. I supposed then I had came to think about it, I did not see him much that day. I met him at lunch, we hugged and I spoke to him breifly at the end of the day. Despite that, what had I done to deserve the awful reckless heart break? I learnt then to never take life for granted.
