2 Conflicted Minds

Chapter 1

Isaiah's view

"This can't be true, tell me it's not true" Karen exclaimed.

"Sorry but it is, the best thing for him now is to try to help your son live a normal life" said Dr. Sovtoe.

I was only 7 when I was diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome also known as autism. My mom had never experienced this before, so she didn't know what to do, and didn't know what to say to make me feel better. I didn't understand why though. I don't understand why she would get mad at me, why she would cry so much, and when she did I wouldn't feel anything. I do understand that she kept me even though I was different, even though I made her mad, and even though I made her cry. I know that she still loves me. I want to love her back, but I don't know how.

10 Years later

"Isaiah if you don't get up now you're going to be late for your first day of school" Karen yelled.

"Ugh, fine I'm coming " I exclaimed.

Due to me having ASD it's been hard to find schools that will accept me. Usually I would attend a special needs school or be home schooled. But, because I'm going into my senior year of highschool my mom wanted me to have some sort of a high school experience. So this year I'll be attended Nightwood High School a very prestigious school. Asperger Syndrome mostly effects me on my emotions than my intelligence. So, when it comes to school I basically nail at it .I've always been a straight A student but because of my disability some schools won't accept me. Their loss though.

"Isaiah if you don't come down now we're gonna be late" yelled Karen.

"Coming mom!" I said.

Sage's view

"Oh My Gosh, it's the 1st day of school. That means new teachers, new opportunities, and new everything. Who couldn't be excited" Sage bubbled.

"I never thought I would meet someone who is so positive, that they can find happiness in school"Nathan said.

That's Nathan my BFF we've been friends since the 3rd grade. But let me tell you this I have the best sense of humor out of the two of us. I'm the "funner one". Even though he is still a funny and fun guy(HAHAH, get it and fun guy/fungi). Anyways, I always like to think I'm more funner than him. Is funner even a word. "F-u-n-n-e-r". Maybe it's missing an i somewhere. If you couldn't tell by now I ramble A LOT.

*(Sage and Nathan continued walking to their homeroom class)

"Dude, I heard that there's going to be a new kid in our grade"Nathan addressed.
"Oh yeah, I think he's in our homeroom and I'm not a dude" I said.

"I hope he's cu-" I tried to muttered while looking at the floor.

*(Sage bumps into Someone)

"Woah, sorry didn't see you there." I said.

"Clearly, You know it would be very much appreciated if you'd watch where you were going next time" He snapped.

"Wow, no need to be rude" I mumbled.

"What's that dude problem" Nathan said.

" I don't know" I said confused. As both Nathan and I finally entered our homeroom and took our seats.

Isaiah view

That girl is seriously clumsier than a drunk clown, and clearly needs a pair of glasses. What a way to start my first day of school. I'm already dreading the introduction for the new kid. Standing in front of everybody and talk. Hate it. I walked into my homeroom and took a seat.

*(Everyone had made it to class now by now)

''Hello class I'm Mr. Diwsie your homeroom and Chemistry teacher.

"Hi, Mr. Diwise"Everyone said.

"I know many of you may already know everyone here, but we have a new student joining us this year. Please give a warm welcome to Isaiah Young."Mr.D said.

"Come up Isaiah and introduce yourself to the class don't worry we don't bite"Mr.D added

"Yeah, because the first thing I think of, is everyone biting me" I whispered under my breath.

"Hi, I'm Isaiah..... Isaiah Young, I'm 17 yrs old" I said 

Oh come Isaiah there has to be something more then that, tell us an interesting fact about yourself" Mr. D said

"A interesting fact about me is that I'm one of the very few people who actually enjoy Math." I said. I made my way back to my desk and guess what. Everyone and I mean everyone looked at me on the way back.
Why?

I hate it.
