He Sees You For the First Time

It's late in the evening; you get finally get to leave the campus library and go to your dorm you share with your friend, (B/F/N). Unlocking the door and heading inside, your phone rings. A text from her saying that she's out on a date.

'Great,' you think to yourself. 'Third one this month. Bet she's going to bring him home again.'

Deciding you need something to calm your nerves and distract you from your major final project, you go out for a walk in the woods just outside your school. The stream that runs through is calming and beautiful.

You sit on a large rock that's half in the water, dipping your toes to feel the cool stream run by, completely unaware that you were being watched.

Waking up, you slam your hand on your alarm, but then realize it wasn't even going off. Looking at it, you realize it's the weekend. No classes and no studying... at least for the first day.

'6:00 AM', your clock read.

"Fucking GREAT!" you groaned, falling back into bed. You were wide awake now. Not sure what to do, you decide to go for a run. You put on black leggings with (F/C) trimming and a matching sports bra and black tennis shoes. You grab your phone and headphones and head out the door.

Running along the field track, you didn't realize that someone was watching you from one of the dorms.

It was the middle of the night and your roommate, (B/F/N), just passed out drunk playing some Legend of Zelda game on his old Nintendo64. You weren't one for video games as much as you were for just sitting down and reading some manga.

Speaking of which, that's exactly what you were doing before your friend passed out.

Putting down your book- not before marking your place- you throw one of (B/F/N)'s arms over your shoulders and carry him to his bed.

"You're a real piece of work," you jokingly said as you laid him down.

You decided to watch Netflix for once since you rarely ever used the T.V., not realizing that the Nintendo64 was still on and that someone was watching you.

You and your friends decided to make the most out of your short spring break and go ghost hunting- probably the dumbest thing you could think to do.

You chose three locations that you would be checking out: the abandoned asylum just outside of town, the old folks home that burned down decades ago, and, of course, the abandoned amusement park on the outskirts of town.

Some of your friends, being the wusses they are, wanted to go to the amusement park first because it seemed like the "least likely to be haunted." They just wanted to ditch before you got to the asylum.

Jumping the rusted gate at the amusement park, you and your friends stared in awe and the shut down rides. A ferris wheel was the first sight when entering- or jumping- the gates. It was large, rusted, and slanted dangerously to one side. Avoiding that ride at any cost, your group explored the rest of the place.

Moving on to the other "haunted" locations, some of your friends ditched before the asylum just as you predicted. Walking into the asylum, you didn't realize that someone had been following and watching you the entire time.
