"Come one," Sophie mumbled glaring at the clear class cup laying on top of her bed. "Come one," she grumbled glaring harder at the glass a small puttle of clear liquid appearing. "Aha!" she screamed excitedly quickly grabbing the glass to examine the water before frowning. "If only I could fill you up," she grumbled sighing placing the glass on her nightstand and falling nack on her pillows. "Fuck," she whispered closing her eyes.
In the short span of 2 weeks she had only mastered one spell. A very simole spell from the kids begginers books for ages 5 to 8, sadly. That was conjuring fire in the palm of her hand. She can do more with it now that doesnt9 envolve just having a ball of fire in her hand. Still not the safest thing to use when around Jason considering he get aggrivated then she does and the a huge forest fire always almost happens. Keyword is almost but Jason always tends to ignore that fasinating word and orders her to go back to her room and in his words 'Fucking study you useless witch!'.
"Let's try another book," she told her self looking ober the bookshelf that has suprisingly grown rapidly. "Maybe an intermediate one," she considered tapping her chin as a big old red book floated her way. This particular spell ŝvebi or levitate in English came naturally to her. Sighing, the book opened itself up to the first spell. "Teleportation," she questioned reading over the instrutions on how to say it followed by how to exicute it. "Sounds...easy enough...maybe...well hopefully," she tried to sound hopeful sitting back up rolling her shoulders back trying to relax. "Ianuae Magicae," she slowly said trying to let the words roll off her tongue smoothly. Closing her eyes she tried to paint the picture of her being in the living room downstairs. Not that far and in case of anything someone will eventually see her bloody remains there. "Ianuae Magicae," she firmly said before opening one eye to see she had only moved to be infront of her door. "Eh, better then nothing," she shrugged slwoly standing up and stretcjing hearing a few bones crack. "I've been at this for 3 hours time to refuel with food," she said patting her stomach before heading out the door her book following close behind her.
Jason and his back were off somewhere doing something to who knows what or to who knows who. She wasn't allowed to know of any plans she only had to focus on controlling her powers which, she oatted herself on the back, was coming along decently, slowly but decently. Humming to herself she looked around to see whose turn was it to babysit her.
"Hello?" she said her voice ecjoing slightly throughout the empty house. "Weird," she mumbled out opening the fridge making a few things come out and settle themselves on the counter. "I'm never alone," she finished hearing the stove turn on as she closed the door.
"Boo!" someone screamed at her making her scream and hold her hand out causing whoever scared her to slam high up on to the wall. "Fuck, the person said as Sophie quickly closed the fridge door looking up to see who had scared her.
"Chaz!" she screamed before glaring at the guy feebily trying to free himself to no avail.
"Yo, I had no clue you could do that," he said trying to move his arms. "Guess this training thing is coming along," he happily said smiling down at her while Sophie glared at her hand. "Uh, any idea how to get me down?" he said cracking a smile slightly worried.
"Um," she mumbled holding her hand up towards him. "Honestly, I have no clue how I did that. I'm assuming self defence?" she said cocking her said to the side. "Let me just," she mumbled her nerves still high as she motioned her hand in a 'come towards' way only causing Chaz to quickly move towards her. "Fuck!" she shouted quickly making him stop a few inches above her making him groan.
"Careful," he mumbled out coughing the rough stop making it feel like someone had punched him in the chest, hard.
"Sorry," she said feeling 3 times as nervous then she did before. Taking in a deep breath she used both her hands moving back a bit and slowly placing Chaz down on the ground releasing him from the apperant strong hold on him.
"Shit," Chaz said stretching out a bit, "that was some ride," he joked trying to easy to anxious girl in front of him. "My fault anyways," he waved off seeing that she was chaging geara to full apology mode. "I kept forgetting how strong you actually are," he chuckled. "Jason and the rest will be back by 6," he said quickly changing the subject glancing over and rasing his eyebrows seeing that she still managed to make her food while she defended heraelf from his suprise attack. It was meant to be funny, well for him mostly, he was bored.
It was impresive actually. She really had grown with her magic in just 2 weeks. If it had been a week and a half ago he did this, which he has and she always gets scared, there would have been a huge mess of food on the floor Sophie and him would have had to clean up quickly or else Jason would punish him and send Sophie up to her room to study more.
"I guess I can show Jason I can do that," she told him frowning. "And doing two spells at once," she said glancing over at her food. "Hopeful I won't get glared at as much," she grumbled pouting.
"Intermediate?" Chaz questioned motioning to the book that was floating close behind her.
"Eh," she shrugged, " couldn't make more then a small puddle of water appear in a glass so I decided why not," she said taking hold of the plate filled with veggies and rice. "Try something new," she finished as she moved her hand making everything get cleaned and put away. "I'll be in my room," she stated heading up the stairs towards her room.
"Can you at least make me food!" he shouted after her. She lifted her finger up as the new plates, pans and food strated to move around the kitchen preparing themselves into food. "Thanks!" he howlered just in time before ahe closed her door.

"Up" Jason demanded barging in to Sophies room catching her by suprise causing her to squeak and fall down to the ground making her loose concentration from levitating herself. "Combat training starts today with me. I expect you outside in the back in 10 minutes," he said before walking out the door hearing 'fuck me' just as he closed the door making him smirk."Alright," he said eyeing the witch uo and down. "In order to make sure your ass doesn't get killed on the battle ground we have to first show you to to defend yourself without the use of your magic. Cause right now your magic is as reliable as a baby," he said croasing his arms infront of him. "So before we even start with the basics we have to build you up. Five mile run," he said see her dark brown eyes go wide. "Five miles there and five miles back," the color of her skin slowly draing. "No stopping so I suggest you stretch," he finishes turning around leaving the gapping girl to begrudgingly stretch. "Ready, you better not fall back or the 10 becomes 11, set, no stopping either, go!" he said before they both took off.
He had to hand it to her for finishing without complaining or falling behind. She was covered in sweat breathing heavily on the ground. As soon as the got back and he called time she fell down with a groan. Ten miles in total, no stopping at all and she was able to keep up with him.
"You did decent," he told her tossing her a water bottle, "that's it for right today. I expect you to be up and ready by 5 am sharp for another run." he told her as she quickly downed the entire bottle of water before nodding. "I suggest you take a hot shower and massage your thighs or else you'll wake up extremly sore," he said holding his hand out for her. "I don't want to be kept waiting if that happens," he said as she took hold of his hand pulling herself up with his help.
"Goodnight," she told him guving him a curt nod before limping inside making him chuckle.
"This is gonna be fun," he said amused looking up seeing the sky slowly start to turn black.
I'm bored at work and this chapter just flowed out of me. Hope you like it.
