I thought you would support.
Support me to be who I want to be.
But, all you did was, left me on the sinking boat.
Told me I would learn to swim and walk alone.
I was waiting for you all the time.
You left me, said I commited a crime.
It was hard to believe then,
You were the first to prove your point
" The world was filled with cruel men".
"Please wait" I cried out.
"you will learn" was all you did shout.
You left me speechless, my kness weak.
That wasn't what broke me, what tore me apart was you turning your back.
You were right, I did learn to swim,
Learned to walk alone.
But, Something that was first in the list was,
not to trust a single bone.
You said I was useless, did not work enough.
I had to shut your laugh
You pulled me, placing all your powers against me.
You said, " You would never be who you want be to".
Your words haunted me throughout.
To prove you wrong I had to stand out.
Everything you said to put me down,
couldn't break me any further down.
The time I reached the peak.
You seemed to be the happiest yet not the weak.
I was confused did not know what to believe.
The facts I witnessed or the facts I believed.
