Normani's pov

I waved goodbye to my mom's friends that we always celebrate Christmas with. I've known them my whole life. My mom became friends with Alyssa when she was in 8th grade. Alyssa has a husband named Robert and they have a son. His name is Chase and he's 26 years old. He's always had this HUGE crush on me, but what can I do? I just don't like boys in that way.

When they were gone my family walked back inside. I was just about to go inside when I saw Kylie standing next to a Ferrari down the street.

Damn she's hot.

I walked to her with a confused look on my face.

"What are you doing here? I mean, I'm glad that you're here though"

"We're going on a road trip" she said and opened the passenger door for me.

"I should tell my mom"

"I've already told them" she smirked and shut the door.

"But I was just with them" I'm so confused.

"I called your mom yesterday and asked if it was okay" she said and started driving.

"You asked for my mom's permission?" I said and smiled.

That's so cute.

"And your grandma's"

That's even cuter.

"I know how much she means to you"

I smiled even more and then realized I didn't know where we were going.

"Where are we going?"

"You'll see" she smirked and kept her eyes on the road.

I felt her hand on my thigh. I looked up at her and admired her flawless face.
She's so gorgeous, I can't believe she's mine.

We had been driving for I don't know how long when she stopped and turned to face me.

"I need you to put this blindfold on" she said and handed me the blindfold.

"Okay..?" I was still confused.

I put it on and she kept driving. About 5 minutes later the car stopped.

I felt her lips against mine for 2 seconds then I herd her open and closing the door. She opened my door and helped me out and then shut it again.

"Are you going to kill me?" I could hear her laugh.

"No babe, I'm not that evil"

We were now inside a building and I'm guessing we're in an elevator.  She finally led me to a room... I'm guessing.

"Ready?" She asked.

"I don't wanna die yet!" I said and she took off the blindfold.

I don't even know where to start. We were in a really high building. The view was amazing. You could see all these big buildings.
There were roses on the floor and a couch in the middle of the room.

"This.. this is so beautiful"

"I wanted to do something special for you"

I turned around and pressed my lips against hers. She kissed back and we started making out when I realized...

"Wait, did you break in?" I started panicking.

"What? No! My mom knows the guy that owns the building so I asked if I could borrow it"

"Oh" I said and felt relieved.

"I would never break into a building, and I definitely wouldn't kill you Normani" she said and chuckled.

"Cmon" she grabbed my hand and took me to the couch.

"You want chocolate?" She said with a smirk and we shared the chocolate that popped out of nowhere.

"Thanks Kylie, for all of this"

"No problem, but we're not done yet"

"What do you mean?"

"Just wait for it"

We were cuddling and eating chocolate when I suddenly saw fireworks.

"Is it already midnight??"

"No, it's half an hour left but people always start with the fireworks early"

After 25 minutes of cuddling she got a text.

"Cmon, we gotta go" she said and dragged me to the elevator.

"Where are we going? It's almost midnight!"

"That's why we gotta hurry"

"What? I'm so confused"

We where at the top of the building when we get out and the first thing I saw was the amazing view and my friends.

Wait

My friends?

What are they doing here?

"I thought you wanted to celebrate New Years with all of us and not just me" she said and I smiled.

This is sooo amazing.

Cmon mani bear it's almost midnight!" Ally said and I ran to her and hugged her. And then it became a group hug.

"20 seconds!" Lauren said.

"10!"

"9!"

"8!"

"7!"

"6!"

"5!"

"4!"

"3!"

"2!"

"1!"

"HAPPY NEW YEAR!" We all screamed and I kissed Kylie.
