-Chapter 2-                                                       
 WillowKit playfully tackled her littermate, FernKit. They usually wrestled around at sun high. But it was sun rise. She then heard a low growl coming from a former queen who has been kitting. "I'm kitting!!" She then yowled. The medicine cat, FawnLeap, ran over and slowly helped her into the empty nursery and layed her down. WillowKit curiously padded over with FernKit, though they weren't allowed inside. One of the warriors SunFall, said they couldn't come in. So, WillowKit just waited out and continued to play. WillowKit never knew who her adoptive father was, she knew LilyCream was her foster mother. But who was her dad? "Do you know who our father is?". FernKit laughed "It's TigerStar silly! You didn't know?". "Nobody told me, how was I supossed to know!?". FernKit giggled "you have a point". WillowKit later heard a faint squeal. She ignored it for a while but then she couldn't handle the curiousness and padded over. Seeing one kit mewing, suckling his mother's , SoftGaze's, milk. WillowKit tilted her head unknowingly. And looked at SoftGaze. "He's yours?" She asked. "Yes, his name is ThornKit." WillowKit looked at ThornKit curious. "He's cute!" WillowKit blurted out and smiled. "Thank you WillowKit". The father of the kit, OakClaw, stood next to his mate licking her pelt. WillowKit stuck her tongue out a little bit at the thought of having a mate. She slowly nodded goodbye to the family and saw FernKit staring right at her. "WillowKit! Where were you!?". WillowKit looked at her "I was in the nursery. There's at new kit. His name is ThornKit". FernKit didn't seem to listen, or care and walked to her mother hearing her call them. Soon, Hearing LilyCream call for her aswell.
