Chapter 7 - Old Friend

*Knock Knock*

"Brendon, can you get that I'm getting ready to get in the shower!" I yell from upstairs. Brendon opens the door and sees someone in a black hoodie, his back is face towards him. "Hello?" Brendon asks, they turn around. I hear the door slam and I turn the water off and run down stairs. "Brendon?" I say, he walks away from the door. I open the door and I see a familiar face, it was Ryan. He had a bat in his hand, and his cheeks were red. "Ryan, why are you here?" I ask, not questioning the bat and black hoodie. "I'm here for Brendon" he replied, Brendon walks up to the door, "What do you want" he asks, "I wanted to say I'm sorry, I should of never left you, I know how heartbroken you were" Ryan says. I got confused. Was he talking about dating? Brendon always told me he liked him as a friend, Dallon is Brendon's true love I thought, at least that's what Brendon told me... "No, I don't want you anymore, I'm happier without you, leave please" Brendon tells Ryan, "but, I love you Brendon" Ryan says, Brendon looks at me, I walk up stairs and shut the door, I listen to their conversation still. "I'm in love with someone else, someone that isn't Dallon, and someone that isn't you. I'm in love with a girl that makes me the happiest person on the world, I'm in love with such an amazing girl and she doesn't know it, then you show up and mess everything up. I finally got over you, I don't want you back. Please leave and never come back" Brendon says. Ryan's says nothing. I hear the front door shut, and walk back down stairs. "I heard everything, about you being in love with a girl, and you not wanting him back" I say, "Who's the girl Brendon, you can tell me anything, I promise" I ask. "I'll tell you late, she's really important to me. She honestly means everything to me. I don't wanna say right now, I'm not ready" Brendon replied. I agree and I let it go.
