The so called perfect day

Don't you wanna unpack before we go" Chance said with his perfect voice. "Oh yea I totally forgot about that um I can do it when we get back" I said hopefully we could start leaving right away. "Okay then let's go" he said while walking out the door. We went walking around down main street first it was awesome then we stopped to grab ice cream but the most perfect part about it was that I was alone with chance the whole time we also walked down to the beach. "So how do you like it here so far". "Its well" as I took a pause "it's not anything I didn't want that's all I know" I said feeling kinda dumb. "So you are staying fir the whole summer right" he said kinda suspiciously. "Yeah um there's some problems back at home and until they get sorted out I'm here" I said kinda waiting for him to say something I was on the edge if my seat it was like I was at a suspenseful moment at the movies waiting for him to ask her out. "Do you know what's going on and stuff" he said as if he was dodging himself from asking me. "Um well yea it's just little money issues she didn't really want me to worry much and she said that if it doesn't get solved then we might be moving in with Bailey of course only temporary but obviously that'll be decided at the end of the summer I could even go to school with you guys" I said hoping I could stop talking about myself just for a second to let him say it. "Look I really like you Sophie, that's why I wanted to hang out with you today and when I say this I mean it it's been the best day I've had in forever and I've never met any other girl that is like you". My heart stopped... I tried speaking but I thought if I opened my mouth I would puke or even worst say something stupid a tv star just told me he likes me oh my god what do I do most importantly what do I say. "Are you going to say anything?" "Um" did I really just say um I'm dying. "Would you be my girlfriend I know it's a lot in just one day of you being here but what do you say?"
