Telling the truth

Hey guys sorry I haven't updated in like a week but I was just so caught up in my other story's that I haven't had time for this one and truth to be told this story is almost finished I know it was a short one but only like 5-8 chapters I haven't quite yet thought it out but at this part of the story Bailey just asked Sophie why Chance wanted to hang out with her so badly do you think she'll start confessing it all or make up a weird lie just to keep it a secret

"Why did he wanna hang out with you so badly?" At that moment I totally froze I know she would be mad if I told her what should I do now?? "Bailey maybe we should go inside and we can go put our new stuff away?" I said hopeful that sooner or later she would forget all about it and move on from it. "Okay but are you going to tell me why Chance seemed so bumped out when you couldn't hang out?" She said still curious as I wanted the question to be forgotten and dropped already. "Um... Yea but later okay Chance is just weird so let's not let him get to us and we can keep on walking in side". I said trying to pull her inside with me but she wouldn't budge." Is there something going on that I should probably know about?" She said thinking she would actually get answers but I didn't wanna speak. "Bailey, would I ever lie to you? I said there was nothing going on so there's nothing going on". I said kind of raising my voice and reaching another octave. "I don't believe you I still think there's something that your hiding and you won't tell me." She said. "Bailey you seriously don't believe me I'm your cousin you would believe your instincts which aren't even true rather than your own cousin wow I came back to see you hopeful that we could be like we used to be, friends but I guess not if that's how you wanna be." I ran up to the door quickly opening it then went up to me room to see I got a message from Chance well messages after he had seen I seen the text he blew up my phone asking where I was and why I wouldn't reply. I texted him and told him what happened with Bailey. Then he told me it will all be okay then we talked for a while more until I hears a knock at my door to see Bailey standing in the entrance. "Hey, look I'm so sorry about this all my curiosity got the best of me and we should not fight like that because your right your my cousin and we should work this out and be old friends again but I'm really really sorry cause I know you were excited to see me and all so what do you say?" She said with a depression tone in her voice. "Of course I forgive you I could never stay mad at you and you should know that we will always be old friends and I didn't mean any of what I said down stairs just to clear it up". I said feeling happy that things worked out with me and Chance and me and Bailey, I planned a few schemes today that actually worked out for the better even if it meant ignoring chance I liked how this day went. After that me and Bailey got our stuff played around a little bit and organized all the stuff we got. "I had a really fun day today and I'm really glad you came back here." Bailey said. "Good, because I'm so happy I came back too and I don't know what I would be doing right now if I wouldn't have came." I replied back to her. "Do you think we could do something like this again or maybe even tomorrow?" She said as I froze I didn't want to be rude to Bailey because we just made up but I promised Chance I would hang out with him. Again I don't know what to do and I would really like to not be put in this position anymore
