ethan's pov:
she stepped onto the scale my heart was already racing. i could see her face sunken in and no color in her face. and i am just now noticing this. i feel like such a bad brother.
she closed her eyes i could tell she didn't really want to see the number. it had appeared on the scale what she has done to herself. 95. 95 pounds. i looked at her in shock and tears started flowing out of my eyes. i needed to show her that we have to stay strong but i couldn't. she was falling. she fainted. "AVA AVA WAKE UP PLEASE BABY WAKE UP!" i yelled crying into her fallen body. i wonder how long she hasn't been eating for.
i pulled her into my arm and carried her to my bed. i was calling 911 i was so nervous. "mom ava fainted help!" i yelled to get her attention she quickly ran upstairs accompanied by grayson, my dad, and cameron. 911 picked up and "911 what's your emergency." they said calmly. "my sister just fainted she is unconscious. please help." i cried into the phone. "okay sir we set an ambulance they should be there soon stay on the line with me." i set my phone down and put it on speaker. "what happened." my mom said worried. "ava she hasn't eaten in a month. and if she does she throws it up." i said crying. "omg how did i not see this i'm such a bad mother." she started to cry. "mom i didn't notice it either and i'm with her almost all the time she hide it really well. this is not your fault." i cried. i sat next to the bed staring at her cold face. grayson's staring at her face crying. we heard someone down stairs. it was probably the ambulance.
they came rushing into my room and checking for her pulse. they rushed her to the ambulance and drove off with her.
ava pov:
it all faded into black. then nothing.
i woke up with chords connected to me and a breathing mask thing.(i have no idea what they are called so) i looked around the room to see ethan, grayson, cameron, mom, and dad. oh no ethan probably told mom and dad. "omg ava your awake." ethan, grayson, and cameron ran over to me and gave me a big hug. "what happened?" i was very confused. "you fainted while in the bathroom and were unconscious." he said. "oh okay." i was so nervous for what my mom would say.
my mom and dad walked over to me. my mom holding my wrist making me feel more uncomfortable then i already was. "ava why do you do it." she said. i didn't respond i just wanted to be skinny like the people of instagram. she looked at me with tears in her eyes. i feel so bad my mom shouldn't have to worry about me like this. i couldn't help but cry. all of these emotion hit me. my mom came and gave me a hug. "shh baby it's okay calm down." i couldn't calm down though. i have anxiety so i knew what was happening i was having a panic attack. my mom noticed me struggling to catch my breath. "honey shh breath. come on in and out. in out." she repeated herself about 4 times before i could finally think straight. "ava i will have to watch you eat everyday till i can trust you okay?" you mom said. "okay." i was mad but i knew it was probably for the better.
