Shall I collate thee to a subdued night?
Thy beauty unmatched; much for mortal eyes.
Thy shine enthralls; mermaid's voice, for 'tis might.
For thou'st such radiant light guides thine allies:
Perchance nightfall façades scads woebegone,
And nightfall's total gloom gloams people's souls,
And the moon's afar; heavens far'n-gone,
Or oft veiled in billows; no salient goals.
But, thy virtuousness shan't be secreted,
Nor thy blissful, stunning nature corrupt.
Tophet shan't claim thy voice malleated,
'cause thou irrupt flawlessly with prerupt.
Thus as long as vision can concept night,
Thus thine arts shall bless the minds with delight.
