Chapter 2

I got out of the car and followed him up the stairs to his house and then up to his room. His room was surprisingly clean. I would have thought it would be a mess.

I went and sat on the end of his bed. He came over and sat beside me "So for this project what planet do you want to do it on?"

"You actually want to do this project?"

"Well why wouldn't I."

"I just thought you didn't care about school that's all."

" And where did you get that idea?"

"Umm.. people."

"Oh yeah like who?"

At that point I had got up and was looking around his room. He walked or to me."Well?"

"Uhh my friend Lindsey."

"Oh."

"Oh and umm do you have your books so we can start the project?"

"No cause I thought we could just use yours."

"Well I don't have mine because someone told me to meet them outside and I thought we were going back in."

"Well I know what we can do." he started to walk closer to me. "Oh yeah like what?" I started to back away but ended up hitting a wall. "Do I make you nervous?" In my head I was saying yes!"N-no."

He put his lips up to my ear and whispered " I think I do." I could smell his minty breath that tickled my ear. With that he backed away.

He started to walk to his door "Come on" so I followed him downstairs and out to his motorcycle. He got on it and mentioned for me to get on. So I did.

Once we were on the road I asked him "Where are we going?" He just ignored me. He ended up taking me to the café two blocks away.

We went and sat down at one of the booths near the back. We ordered, he got a coke and I got a water. I decided to start a conversation "Why did you bring me here?"

"Why did Mandy push you?"

"I'm gonna go to the bathroom."

"Don't change the subject."

It was to late because I had gotten up and walked to the bathroom. I heard the door open and I turned around to see Ryan locking the door. "Umm what do you think your doing?" He didn't answer me instead he put his lips on mine. I was shocked at first but then I started to kiss him back.

We pulled apart and just stood there looking at each other. He still had his arms around my waist and I had my hands on his chest.

Ryan's POV

I took her to the café two blocks away from my house. Once we got there we ordered. I thought this would be the perfect time to ask her about Mandy.

When I asked her I knew she would say nothing happened. Ugh she makes me so mad some times. I decided that I would follow her into the bathroom.

I went in to the girls bathroom and locked the door behind me. She turned around and said" Umm what do you think your doing?" I ignored her and went over to her and placed my lips in hers. But god did her lips feel like a babies bottom.

I think she was shocked at first, but after a couple of seconds she started to kiss me back. After a while we pulled apart and just looked at each other.

I grabbed her hand and lead her back to the table were at before. I took a drink of my coke and she just looked at me. " Why did you kiss me?"

"Why did you kiss me back?"

"Can we just go back to your place so I can get my stuff and go?"

"Not yet"

"Huh?"

"I want to take you somewhere"

"Where?"

"It's a surprise."
