I had just ordered my coffee and was anxiously waiting for it to arrive.

I was feeling like I had been hit by some giant truck and then somebody had flushed all of my senses down the toilet.

Basically, I felt like a wreck.

I saw a girl with my coffee headed towards me.

I looked at the coffee in her hands longingly.

I looked at the coffee and only coffee, mind you. At that point of time, that mug was my salvation.

"Here's your order sir.", she kept my coffee on the table and stood there expectantly.

"I've already paid if you're waiting for that here.", I said.

I observed her, she had frail hands and pale skin, a petite frame and blonde dyed hair.

Why would anyone dye their hair blonde?

"Are you done checking me out?", she asked confidently.

Little did she know I was merely analyzing her.

"Well, if that's what you think I can't deny it. So you're joining me for coffee or something?", I asked sarcastically because at this point I was a huge ass grump and I couldn't care less about scoring a girl right now.

Not like it was a difficult task but guys do need an estrogen detox some times.

I was sitting in the isolated booth by the corner, enjoying my solitude with my oh so lovely coffee.

This booth gave me a good view of the whole parlor and the yellow lighting just gave the place a photographic glow.

I took out my camera and took a shot of a couple sitting by the window looking outside at the rain and the yellow glow illuminating there faces.

That scenery in front of me looked serene, unearthly.

I then kept inside my camera and continued sipping on my coffee as I observed the mass in front of me.

There was a group of teenagers, probably younger than me who seems to be in a serious discussion.

The girl on the side had nice hands and the one sitting next to her, seemed to be a Malibu Barbie.

I was distracted by a sudden voice calling out to me,
"Nate, bro?", I looked up to see who it was and found Seth, a guy from the soccer team looking at me, smiling.

"Hey man! How come you're here?", I asked, he seemed a bit uncomfortable.

His hands were lightly shivering and his expression seemed uneasy, he was also panting a bit.

"Ah, it's nothing actually.", he said as he took a seat across me in the booth.

Though I'm not much fan of people just sitting like that, interrupting me when I'm alone but it's fine.

I'm not antisocial and moody.

Maybe I am right now.

I looked at Seth, an eyebrow raised waiting for him to spill whatever he has to.

"Stop being a grump man!," he said and then looks at me and sighed,
"So there is this girl, she's damn hot and I wanna kinda get dirty with her.", he explained.

Estrogen Detox.

Remember.

"Are you kidding me? Like it's morning and you're trying to sort out your stupid hormonal problems?", I say irritated.

"What?! I'm a guy, I have some needs!", he said.

"Well then go tell your girlfriend to fulfill your needs, the girlfriend being your left hand.", I say like the grump I am. Right now.

"I don't know what is wrong with you in the mornings man it's like you're a different person altogether! It's like you have detached your dick and-", I cut him of in the middle of his sentence with a scowl.

Detox.

I saw the door open and a girl enter through the door, I couldn't see her face but she had nice brown hair thrown carelessly into a bun, she wore-

I was interrupted by Seth clicking his fingers in front of my face,
"Are you even listening to me? Dude there must be some party this weekend, you gotta be my wing man.", he said.

I resisted the urge of punching him and breaking his nose because right now, I was not in the damn mood.

"Seth. Bye.", I say with a flat face.

Seth was a cool guy and he knew me fairly well to know that morning ain't my time and no way am I listening a rant about some bimbo whom he wants to hook up with.

It has been a while since I got someone nice to hook up with though....

Detox.
Just for some time.

"Fine whatever! But we're having a talk about this later.", he said as he got up and left.

I sighed and looked up at the counter, just to find no trace of the brunette I had seen earlier.

Damn you, Seth!

I finished my coffee and headed out of the parlor.

It was drizzling and the sky was grey, perfect weather.

Time for a shoot!
