Natsu's POV
"What in the fucking hell is going on?!"
I quickly glance around, seeing different and unique personages, the style has changed so much yet stayed the same at the same time. I then regard that the stone path for Magnolia is now smoothed out.
Finally, I begin to wander through the now clean and white pathway and go through the town that I once knew so well.
The buildings were so tall that I could not discern where the top is, why is there a need for so many floors?
Uh... I'm so lost, where's the guild? Perhaps if I climb up at least one of them, then I would be able to see the outline of the city.
Is this even Magnolia?
I study the surroundings and base them off my memory, the baker's hut was now replaced with a very extensive structure termed 'Tall-Mart' and the clothing store was now called 'Forever 61.'
I decided to try to smell around for the familiar buildings and people. I take a deep breath and activated my magic and sniffed the air and my nose shriveled up in disgust.
I sensed my stomach push up digested food and my hands immediately slap over my mouth, forcefully restraining my last meal from escaping orally. My cheeks stung, but it was a more sufficient choice than losing my last meal and being hungry while being lost.
It stinks!!! It smells like a toilet had exploded shit everywhere and not just any shit, shit that has been there for days, no months, no years, no CENTURIES!!!
I look up and the once blue sky was covered in a grayish hue while whitish and gray fluff flew through the sky, though you could still see an oceany blue layer in the sky.
It wasn't going to rain, yet, why does it stink like fishy shit?!
I didn't want to smell anything anymore, but I need to find out where I'm at and how to locate my way back to the guild. I moaned in defeat and gave a small sigh, inhaling the pungent air again. I managed to control my last meal and was able to keep it inside my stomach.
Perhaps, if I did puke, that would be perceived better than this old, fishy, and shitty smell.
I happily disregarded that scent, placing it in the do not discern of any attention corner of my brain. Smelling about; the essence of various and hazardous fumes to the west, the modest smell of spells to the east, and the smell of cologne straight ahead.
Wait! This wasn't any cologne, it was a masking cologne, this masked a spirit... Loke, perhaps? I mean he was the only one who doused himself in this cologne, it stunk when I approach him, worse than the one that I'd rather not imagine right now.
Standing there for a minute, I finally bolted, if it was Loke, perhaps he had answers? I persistently move through the crowd, he's straight ahead. I can eventually see a familiar head of feathery and fluffy orange hair, he's with Lucy.
She's alright, their smiling, there's nothing going on, is this whole thing an illusion spell. Dammit, the guild got me.
"Loke," I stopped running and gave a shout, I waved my hand in the air and felt a sense of relief, finally giving a smile.
He slowly turned to me. His orange eyes were wide and filled with horror and emptiness, his eyebrows scrunched together, and this his mouth agape.
Lucy's blonde hair blew in the wind while her curved lips went straight, her chocolate eyes glanced at me with her eyebrows raised in confusion.
Weird, it's as if she never knew me.
Hope you enjoyed this chapter and keep reading, I might update soon, might not, I've been so busy that I haven't been able to have time to myself, working, school, siblings, chores. Apologies. But Bye, and maybe see you soon.
