5 Years Later...

Five long years had passed. It has been five very long years since I met that little boy, wondering when I would see him again. I endured the torture from other Pokémon, them not liking I made a human friend because I still have that little black necklace that I kept on my neck, to remind me of him.

My parents didn't like the idea also. When I got back that day, I got in trouble. And my sisters and brothers laughed at me. So, five long grueling years I had to endure the bullying from my friends and siblings. So, that's when I took matter in my own hands after the five long years. I decided to run away, so to speak. As I finally mustered the courage to leave, I took one last look at my home, turned, then left. And I have only one thing on my mind...to find that little boy again that I met 5 years ago. And I'm still a tiny Raltz, mind you.

So, I walked onto a dirt path. As I was walking, I was looking up into the sky, watching the clouds. All that I had on my mind was the little boy, so most of the clouds were forming into that little boy I had in my thoughts. All of a sudden, I heard a sound off in the distance. I hurried over to the nearest tree to hide. I peeked out my head and looked to see what the sound was. There, on top of a short hill, was a boy. He looked like he was 10 years old. He had jet-black medium hair, about going down his neck, wearing a black shirt with a jacket over it, and wearing blue jeans with a belt. He also had a small bag he was carrying. And he had 6 Pokeballs under his belt, which meant he was a trainer. He also had a Torchic by his side, also meaning he was just starting his Pokémon journey. He looked vaguely familiar, but I wasn't to sure if this boy was the little boy I met 5 years ago.

"Torchic, let's go start our journey to be Hoenn's best!" the boy said to his Torchic. The Torchic jumped up in happiness.

The two started to walk down the small hill, and I was still hiding behind a tree. The boy had a smile on his face, and he looked like he can take on anything. I smiled at the thought. That's the kind of trainer I wanted to be with. But, I just had to make sure this wasn't some random trainer...

The boy and his Torchic passed by the tree I was hiding. The Torchic stopped suddenly, and came close to the tree I was hiding behind. The boy turned around, noticing his Torchic gone and sniffing at the tree.

"Something the matter Torchic?" the boy asked.

"Torchic Tor!" the Torchic replied, and then hurried off back with the boy, walking by his side again. I looked and I followed close behind, staying near the trees.

I followed him and his Torchic a little ways, and they stopped at a little pond. They were probably stopping to get some water. The boy sat down, and the Torchic got up into his lap and snuggled. They both looked very peaceful together, and I didn't want to disturb them. That's when something changed.

All of a sudden, a pack of Poochyena appeared by the fountain. They were growling at the kid and his Torchic. Apparently the fountain was part of their territory. The pack was closing in on them, the kid's Torchic scared and cuddled close to it's trainer. I decided this was my chance to see if this was the kid I met 5 years ago. I teleported in the middle of the pack and the kid, and I started to reason with the pack of Poochyena. After a while, I think I heard the kid say "No, it can't be. Is that you?"  because I think he recognized me, probably because I still have the necklace. Meanwhile, the pack of Poochyena were not having it. They told me they wanted no one near the fountain, because it was their only source of water for the time being. And that's when they started to close in on me. All of a sudden, I felt a rush of wind, as the kid picked me up and ran from the pack of Poochyena. As we were running away, I looked up at the kid, seeing he was crying, tears coming out of his eyes.

We made it to Petalburg City. We went in the Pokémon Center, and he sat me down on the ground.

"I can't believe it...." I heard him mutter.

I looked at him, confused. He sniffed, wiping tears from his eyes. I went towards him, putting my hand on his leg. It was as if I felt his emotions.

"Well, since I'm starting a journey, would you like to travel with me?" he asked. I nodded, and he took out one of his Pokeballs from his belt, and he opened it, and I was gone in a flash of red light. I didn't even bother to get out of the PokeBall, the middle of the ball going white.
