With that silly prank war going on, it was scary to be in this house; let alone sleep in this house! But, when your boyfriend keeps you out all night, it's kind of hard to stay awake. Especially when he traps you in bed.

Colby was already asleep, laying on his stomach with his arm draped over my torso and his head resting on my shoulder. It was only around 9 PM, but Colby insisted that we got to bed early. Not tired, I twirled Colby's brown hair between my fingers and softly hummed the tune that had been stuck in my head all week.

But I couldn't fall asleep, so I heard when Corey opened the door, saying something about hanging out with Colby until he saw him passed out. Then, I heard an evil laugh come from the darkest parts of Corey's mind, and he shut the door back.

I considered waking Colby up to warn him so that we could ruin Corey's prank with one of our own, but I had to play as if I was asleep just as deeply as Colby because I heard the door open again.

In full stealth mode, I cracked one of my eyes open to see Corey and Devyn standing over us with Corey holding his camera and Devyn holding her makeup pallets.

If she touches me, I'm biting her, I though.

Corey turned his phone flashlight on, and I flinched, thus ending my sleep charade. The two froze, and I faked waking up. "What are you doing?" I asked as if I didn't already know.

They shook their heads and waved their hands, "Shh!" Corey pointed to Devyn's makeup and then to Colby, who was still deep in slumber. They were going to put makeup on Colby.

I laughed and nodded, actually okay with the thought of how funny his reaction would be. Devyn got in the floor and spread out her makeup and brushes before getting to work with blues and pinks. After a few comments from Corey about how weird makeup products look, Devyn finished her masterpiece with a false eyelash on the only eye she could reach.

It was hard to contain my laughter as I watched the highlight on Colby's face shimmer in the light from Corey's phone. Corey took one of Devyn's brushes and poked Colby in the face, but he didn't budge. The evil wheels started turning in Corey's head again.

With a smirk, he put his phone right next to Colby's ear, and loud techno music began to play. "Wake up, Colby!" we chanted, dancing horribly to the beat of the music.

After a while, Colby started to squirm, frowning with confusion and flinching from the light just as I had done. He groaned and looked around, still trying to figure out where he was and what was going on.

Corey continued to hype him up as he sat up and touched his eyelid. "What is on my eye?" he exclaimed. "What did you do?"

I slid out of bed and tried to drag him with me, laughing and bouncing to the beat of the song. "Work it, Colby!"

"You gotta walk that walk!"

"Fabulous, honey!"

Colby stumbled to the bathroom, mumbling questions about what the heck we were doing, still touching his eye lashes. The look on his face when he looked in the mirror was priceless. His jaw dropped with a slight smile, "What's wrong with my eye!?" He looked from himself in the mirror to us standing in the doorway. "I'm beautiful!"

"You look so pretty," Corey teased.

Then Colby tried to pry his eye open with both hands since Devyn got too much glue and almost glued his eye shut. "Ow!"

"Are you okay?"

"Yes. No. Wh-why... Why? I lock my door at night, how'd you get in?"

I interjected, making Corey turn to film me. "You didn't lock the door." Colby's jaw dropped again in disbelief at himself. "You passed out, man."

"It was time to get you back, brother," Corey smirked. That's when we noticed Colby's eyes watering. "Dude, you look like you're crying!"

"Dude, I am! This freaking hurts; it's getting in my eye." He looked back into the mirror, continuing to pull at his under eyelid. I went over and wrapped my arms around him from behind, earning awws from Devyn.

"Well... What do you think of Devyn's makeup skills?"

"I mean, it's nice... I'm beautiful."

They made jokes about how only one side of his face was attractive until Corey noticed that Colby's makeup matched Devyn's pink bikini and my blue one that were hanging over the shower behind us. Colby faked humor and shut the door in a joking manner, blocking the view of the shower,

"Dude, how do I get this off? It's actually starting to get in my eye." Colby said, looking at his reddening eye.

Devyn instructed him to just pull it off from the edge, but Colby was pulling his actual eyelashes. "No, babe, like this." I reached up and pulled the false lash off with no effort. This amazed the clueless boys, but Devyn and I shared a look that could only be translated as 'look at these idiots'.

Colby threw he lash away, and Devyn made a comment about the entire box of Airheads in the thrash bin.

The mischievous couple left us alone in the bathroom where I helped Colby wash the trash off his face before we went back to bed. "We have to get them back," Colby stated, pulling me into his arms.

"Yep."
