The day has slowly dimmed into a sweet mellow of darkness, and as she watched, the sun gently sank into the horizon, leaving only the night and a sweet breeze from the open area where she sat. The wind riffled through her gown, almost ticklish, just somewhere between her ankles. A smile appears on her lips due to this, shifting her position and arranging her gown a little, she looks at the people around her, there were those who were engaged in a loud chatter, those in a distant murmur, and some, who quietly sat and observed, just like she did. Closing her eyes with a smile on her face, she breathes it all in, listening and feeling through everything.

Slowly.

Gently.

Deeply.

An overwhelming scent of lavender is in the wind, a tiny whiff of wine, a constant hint of sweetness she was quite sure is from the cake on the table near her and then a sudden melody. A guitar begins to play somewhere.

The melody is familiar, a sweet sound she knows very well. Her lips quiver a little; she bites her lower lip to stop it from doing so, and the guitar keeps on playing the tune.

"Nerie."

A smile forms on her lips at the sound of this voice.

Gentle, calling out her name.

Like it always did.

Opening her eyes slowly, she looks up at the person standing right infront of her.

"Wannie." She breathes, her smile widening in an instant.

Clad in a tux, as white as her gown, Dongwan smiles at her, the corners of his eyes creasing. He nods in approval and he holds out his hand towards her, palms open wide, inviting.

"May I have this dance?" He says in a sweet voice, almost a sing song.

Face brightening even more, Nerie nods a little, "I will be a fool to refuse." She says with a hint of amusement. She holds out her hands to his, and clasping it softly.

He bows like a gentleman would, Nerie laughs. A soft tickle to the night. The people around them breaks into applause as she takes her gown into her other hand, lifting them up a little and giving a graceful bow, like a lady would.

Dongwan chuckles, she giggles. They look at each other, nods a little and with a blush creeping into their faces, they walk to the dance floor, in the middle of the room. The lights dim a little, creating an almost purplish glow, the tune stops and begins again. Dongwan looks at Nerie, lifting his hand to touch her face briefly and smiling softly towards her. Nerie squeezes Dongwan's hand with her own, looking back at him beaming. Tearing his gaze from her for a while, Dongwan nods towards the person on the podium near them, she smiles and starts singing the song that was supposed to go with the tune playing that keeps on playing since moments ago.

"Do you remember?" Dongwan says as he takes Nerie's hand and waist with his hands.

Nerie smiles up at him brightly, "Ofcourse." She says holding onto Dongwan's hand and shoulder tightly.

How can she forget this song?

Slowly they dance, following the rhythm of the music, swaying their head a little, looking at each other with smiles on their faces, not minding anyone who are watching them, lost in a world where the music plays, with only them in it.

He looks at her, eyes searching her beautiful face, breathing slowly, as if memorizing. She smiles, soft and gentle, looking straight into his eyes, as if answering whatever question he was asking. Dongwan smiles at this, almost beaming, he gently pulls Nerie closer towards him, stopping only when her face comes to rest on his chest, careful not to squish her or ruin her gown, or her hair. Chuckling, Nerie moves her other hand from Dongwan's shoulders to his back as she closes her eyes while they dance.
