Chapter 2

A boy with a blue mask and wearing a black hood walked over.

"Katie Smiths, your partner is Eyeless Jack. Your in Cabin 2."

I followed Eyeless Jack to our cabin. He opened the door and let me walk in first. He came in after me. I looked at him. He took his mask off and sat down on one of the beds. I stared at him. He had no eyes, just empty sockets. His skin was a dark grey.

"Sit, Katie. We're going to play a game."

I sat down across from him.

"What game?"

"The game is called 'Get to Know Your Partner.' It's easy, We ask each other questions and answer the questions honestly, no matter how personal. That okay?"

I nodded. He lead back against the wall and crossed his arms over his chest.

"Okay, Katie. You start."

"O-okay. Um... What can I call you?"

"Jack."

"How old are you?"

"18."

"Why are you wearing a ring?"

"I'm married to someone here."

"Do you have any kids?"

"No."

"Any siblings?"

"Nope."

"Why do you wear a mask?"

"Hides my face when I go killing. Okay, my turn. Who is Ash?"

"A boy I met on the bus."

"Do you like him?"

I felt my face get warm.

"W-what?! N-no! He's just a friend!"

Jack smiled. I softly squeaked. His teeth were razor sharp.

"How old are you?"

"14."

"Do you have any siblings?"

"No."

"What's your favorite color?"

"Too many to count. So I guess all of them."

"Do you like candy?"

"No."

Jack sighed.

"LJ can't know this."

"Who?"

"Laughing Jack, aka LJ. People call me either EJ or Jack. Ok, last question. Are you afraid of me?"

"K-kinda."

Jack sighed. He pushed his hood back. His brown stuck out at every angle. Suddenly, His dark grey skin turned white and I saw blue eyes.

"W-what?!" I stammered.

Jack turned back to the dark grey skin and empty eye sockets.

"What was my human form."

"Does everyone have human forms?"

Jack nodded.
