Later, Jack was sitting on his bed, criss-cross.
"Hey, Jack?"
"Hmm?"
"Who are you married to?"
"Cat."
My eyes widened. Suddenly, Nick burst in. His face was pale. Jack stood up.
"Nick? What's wrong?" Jack asked.
Nick was breathing heavily. Suddenly, the blonde haired girl appeared. I shrieked in surprise. She had beautiful blue eyes. Jack stood up.
"Cat. What is going on?"
"The Scary Pastas. They're here. Slender said everyone has to fight, even the campers."
Jack turned to me.
"Are you ready for this, Katie?" He asked.
I nodded. Jack grabbed his scalpel. I grabbed my knife and scalpel. I was about to walk out the door when a hand grabbed my shoulder. I turned to see Nick.
"Nick, we have to go. This is what we were training for."
"I know. It's just that... I-I do-don't w-want y-you t-t-to g-get h-hurt."
"Why?"
He looked away from me, his face taking on a pink hue.
"I-I l-like y-you. N-no, n-not l-like y-you. I-I l-love y-you."
I blinked, confused. Nick took a deep breath.
"I love you, Katie. Ever since I saw you on the bus. I wanted to be your friend, maybe even more then friends. If we both survive, I want to go out with you, maybe we'll become one of them and live together forever, and get married and-"
I cut him off by smashing my lips against his. He began to kiss me back. When we pulled away, we were breathing heavily. We smiled at each other.
"Come on. Let's go help everyone. We'll fight side-by-side, back-to-back. We'll fight together. And if we survive and become one of them, I'll marry you."
