U.R.B.A.N. Batch

Union of Responsible, Bright and Active Students

This poem was written by my classmate Rhea Scylla when we were in high school. Back then we were on our first year, which was on the year 2004, and it was the time when she named our class (the special science and technology class) .... "URBAN BATCH"....

Neophytes we may be

But were prepared to face our destiny

To encounter loads of tests everyday

Starting from here, we'll trek along way.

Science, English, Mathematics...

Our studies make our schedule hectic

It's hard to give ourselves a long break

Knowing we'll lose more than we can take

Our brains are like piggy banks

Destined to be filled, not to be left blank

We sweat in studying 'coz we know what we'll reap

..is treasure of knowledge that forever we could keep.

Sometimes arduous lessons make our brains crack

No matter how hard, we just can't step back.

To reach success, we mustn't stop trying

If we give up, we'll end up crying!
