Chapter nine

                       Nicks POV
"What?" Ashlie asked "what movie do you want to see?" I asked again,she walked over to me and sat down on the couch "I don't know,what do you want to watch,you should pick,you've always had a great taste in movies" she smiled.it got quiet..."you doing better?" She asked "oh yeah,I'm just fine" I replied,I didn't want to worry her about my leg,it hurt to walk a little but I can deal with it "that's good" she smiled,it got quiet again,I really didn't like it,I had to break the silence "I'm think something funny,with action" I said trying to pick up the conversation "yeah,Guardians of the galaxy 2 is still in theaters,we could watch that" she replied "oh yeah,most people have already seen it so it should be pretty empty,we can get good sets" I replied,things are going good,I was hoping it wouldn't be weird between us after...that "yeah! It's going to be good!" She said excitedly "for now let's go talk with everyone" I smiled grabbing my crutches "yeah!" She said helping me up,we walked over to everyone talking and hanging out "hey guys" I smiled softly "hey!" Ashlie said,she's always in such a good mood,she always here to make people happy "I've been meaning to say sorry for pushing tommy in to Jon" Cory apologized "oh no it's fine,you didn't mean to,it was probably toms fault" Ashlie said,tommy looked at her defensively "crimany,you Sound like my ex wife" he muttered "shut up tommy!" Ashlie laughed "vright,vright" tommy muttered looking around the room,Ashlie rolled her eyes and looked at me,I giggled quickly covering my mouth "who just laughed,it was adorable" Jon said starting To laugh,I blushed a little,Ashlie laughed nudging at my arm "Ashlie dont" I whispered "sounded like an anime school girl" Cory added "igou?" Uni said in a high pitch voice "no uni!" I said stoping him before everyone started saying it. "You don't let me have any fun" uni mumbled "enough uni chan,we can only handle so much" Cory said crossing his arms,uni rolled his eyes "hey,I got to go,talk to you guys later" dawn said looking at his phone "I'll go with" uni said as they walked out "I'll be right back guys,Jon got to use the Jon" Jon said walking to the bathroom. tommy snickered,It always made me nervous when he did that,it usually meant he's up to something "tommy what are you up to?" Cory asked,seems I'm not the only one "it's nothing,this is off topic but I just remembered when Cory said 'I don't care because my family's rich!' that so funny to me,it's a real hoot" tommy snickered looking down "oh yeah" Cory laughed,me and ash laughed to "what the hell tommy?" I laughed,tommy laughed grinning putting an arm around Cory "can't touch me,cuz my boy friends family is rich!" He shouted,Cory blushed laughing "boy friend you say,I never stopped to ask if you made it official,I know you went on dates and all but this is new" Ashlie said moving the conversation "oh yeah,did we not tell you?" Tommy said looking down at Cory,I never realized tommy was several inches taller than Cory,I leaned over and whispered to Ashlie "you think Cory has to get on his toes and reach to kiss tommy?" I asked,her face lit up,she looked so giddy and exited,I've just started something I probably shouldn't have "you guys are sooooo cute together" Ashlie squealed looking them up and down "this is pay back" Cory sighed "yep,and it going to be hell" I added "I saw this coming" tommy laughed "hey wanna play a video game?"tommy asked,we all nodded our heads "oh can you get me a water please, if it's no trouble" Cory asked "sure babe" tommy said,he kissed his head and walked off,Cory's face turned a dark red as he watched tommy walk off "babe?" Ashlie said crossing her arms in a sassy pose "oh yeah,tommy loves that word" Cory smiled scratching the back of his head nervously "at least we don't give each other stupid nik-names" he added,Ashlie rolled her eyes "what's wrong with babe" I asked "nothing,it just seams like there moving so fast as a growing couple" Ashlie sighed "we raise them for this moment,its time to let go" I added,Ashlie new what game I was going for "guys,I'm not your kid" Cory said crossing his arms "it's time nick,I know it's been wonderful raising them,through school,college-"guys stop it-"and now there getting married,it's all flying by so fast" I said softly "I know one minute,there talking in class, the next your walking your son down the isle to get married" Ashlie said as we ignored Cory "who's getting married?" Tommy asked walking I with a water "oh there he is!" I smiled,tommy looked puzzled and slowly backed away "just ignore them,they art even listening to us" Cory said walking backwards "vright,well I have mortal combat set up in my room if you guys are ready to play" he said changing the conversation,we all ran to his room and started to play "who wants to go first?" Tommy asked "I'll go!" Ashlie said grabbing a controller "who wants to go against me?" She grinned "I'll fight you" Jon said walking in "you got this Ashlie!" I said sitting behind her putting my crutches on the ground,Jon sat down next to her and grabbed the controller,the round started and I cheered ashlie on "come on nick be the cheerleader you were always meant to be" tommy snickered,I rolled my eyes as Ashlie laughed "you can do it Jon" Cory cheered "right,I believe in the you that believe in me" he said mashing the buttons,Ashlie ended up shredding compared to Jon and won "you did good" Ashlie smiled holding her had out "thanks" Jon smiled shaking her hand "all right dinkweed's,who wants to go against me?" Tommy said as Ashlie handed hi the controller "I'll play" I said scuttling over "oh come on,your a competitive player,you'll shred me to piece" tommy whined "I'm not even that good at this game" I protested "that means there's a chance!" He mumbled starting a round,I wanted to be nice so I let him win the first round "get shredded on!" He yelled excitedly "go tommy!" Cory cheered "you can do this tom!" Jon added,I won the second round to set a tie for sudden death,i decided to let him win,he cheered and played it off like he totally new what he was doing "good job tom" I smiled "you to" he smiled,I scuttled back next to Ashlie as Cory sat down "I'll beat you!" He yelled "bring it on babe!" Tommy yelled as the played,ashlie leaned over to me "that was really sweet of you to let tom win" she whispered "he need it" I whispered back "babe" Ashlie whispered trying not to giggle "what if I called you babe?" I asked,ashlie rolled her eyes "come on,babe,don't be like that" I grinned,she crossed her arms and gave me this look "Sorry" I apologized,she smiled
